It Starts

So I got my little Vera in March so it's about time to start making her my own

As I am a poor post grad I decided to start with the cheapest: Rimstripes!!
Tapeworks sent them quicker than I expected and went on easily enough

Reflective of course

Next task was the fugly fender - I don't have much in the tools dept. so I had to use a PVC saw to cut it off.

It looks OK.. hopefully when I get back north I can borrow a dremel and hack it off for good.

That's it for now! I know its nuthin special but it's a beginning

Have fun with the mods. Once you start it is hard to stop.

looks good there are some great diy's on the forum for appearance improvements. you can really do a lot for very little money. fender chop, tinted windscreen, converting stock front signals to flushmounts, painting the exhaust, etc.

have fun!

Thanks! I want to do flush mounts but I'm not good at wiring (I failed horribly with lights under the bike)

I know!! I showed a co-worker the pic and he asked why I would want to put LEDs on my tires
