Motocircle Frame Sliders?
I've been searching for some reviews, but haven't found any.
So thought maybe I'd try here Anyone have these on their 250? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Kawas...ht_4899wt_1196 I can get them for 50 brand new, just wondering if it's a wise investment. I wish I could afford shogun's right now |

Take a look at this:
http://www.ninjette.org/wiki/Frame_sliders This is the information on the different types of frame sliders. The ones you have linked look like Intuitive style frame sliders. Honestly they look as if they are for show, I don't know if they would provide any extra protection, possibly could cause more damage than good. The sliders themselves look like metal and carbon fiber (maybe cf printing and not actually fiber due to the price). With the metal they won't "slide" on the ground but could flip the bike. You should look for something made out of delrin plastic on the tips. |

^+1 save your money. A member a while ago crashed with sliders similar to the intuitive ones and they cracked the farings while also hitting and damaging the engine block (though it wasn't critical damage or anything just cosmetic afaik). Shoguns are worth the money

Warranty or no warranty?
If your warranty has ran out... go for sliders.
If your ride is still under factory warranty I would personally hold off on frame sliders. Most ppl lean towards Shoguns which I like also. Only seen one case where it looked like faulty manufacturing on a set of Shoguns but the percentage of happy ppl vs. the crying weighs in the favor of ppl generally being happy. |
