This is me during a warm up lap on 9/5/10. It was my first track day. I am so anxious to see the rest of the pictures but the photographer has over 8,000 to go through. The local forum that I am on (basically myself and a lot of close friends) rented out Putnam for a day. It was beyond amazing. I can't wait to see what I need to work on. I've already scheduled my next track day in October.

We bought it out for 54 (or I think it was closer to 58 or 60) riders in our local area. The spots sold out pretty quickly. Not cheap at all but it was awesome having the track to just us.

Thank you! Yes, the suit was custom. I should have added more pink. LOL

My bike is to eventually be pink and silver but that will be a winter project in the future.

LOL, pink is very visible which is why I decided to add it to my suit. Definitely great for visibility compared to black suits which is the norm for women's off the rack suits.

I received the cd from the photog last night. Unfortunately he didn't get to take pictures of different corners (not sure if that was the track's doing or what) so they all look the same since most were taken in the same two turns. Oh well, it definitely sheds some light on my body position and what I need to improve on next month! I'll probably post up my first day track review (LOL, okay... it will be more of a ramble) later this week. All I can think about is the track................ I wanna go back. Wah!

Well, thank you! I think I need to be leaned off the bike a little more with my leg hanging out. Just a personal critique. I wish the photographer would have stationed himself out in more corners than just two since that would give me a better understanding of how my form is from turn to turn and on the switchbacks.

Thanks Ally! I bought them from Spartan Leathers. They are custom made. The owner is a friend of mine and is fabulous at what he does. I love my suit too! I was leery about getting a pink suit since I am not a big pink person (hard to tell, I know) but I love hearing people tell me they can see me from a mile away. Those cagers know no bounds so anything I can do to maintain visibility on the street is worth the occasional heckle round here.

Here is my GF. She is just starting riding, having only ever been in parking lots (MSF course and a large local lot). She is slowly building up her confidence, but good news is she hasn't dropped me bike since the course, and she is getting a little better every time! She is always nervous because she dropped my bike twice before the course (from stopping with the bars turned), and during the course she went down five times from not being able to reach anything very well (she didn't realize til half way through the 2nd day that she wasn't supposed to have to take her palm off the grip to grab the front brake :P ). But, I'm proud of her because she picked the bike up herself when she would go down during the course, and she still ended up passing! One of the instructors emailed her and said they use her as an example ("if a 5', 105lb girl can fall down five times and pick up the bike on her own and still pass the course, you can too!") to encourage people not to give up, haha.

The first one is her, the second one is the day I got my bike home (I made her do that :P ), and the third one is her in her riding gear (all she needs is pants now). I made some lowering links that lower the bike about 2" for her when she rides, which allows her to flat-foot in her heels.

Very VERY few people (regardless of sex) would have sucked it up and kept going. I hate to state it like this, but she's got bigger cajones than I do. I would have run off crying like a schoolgirl
