FS: 2008 Ninja 250R - Colorado
I have a friend selling me a bike I have always wanted so I have to make room in my garage. As much as I love it my Ninja is first on my list to go. My friend selling me his bike said I could store it in his garage if I don't have room so I am not in a hurry to sell and don't really expect it to go anywhere until spring.
I am the second owner but I purchased it with 30 miles on it. It currently has about 1,200 on it. Mileage may go up if the weather is nice. I put about 50 miles a week on it commuting to work. I originally bought it just to use as a work commuter but I have being riding my plated CRF250 since the weather has started to get worse here. I had the 600 mile checkup done at Sun Honda/Kawasaki (they work on all my bikes) in Thorton CO and I have receipts for everything. It is completely stock except for a full Yoshimura TRC carbon fiber exhaust and rejetting that I had done after the initial break in. I could not believe how much smoother then stock it ran after the rejetting. I also installed a quick connect battery tender cable. I will post some pics once I find my camera but it is red and there isn't a scratch on it so you probably have a pretty good idea of what it looks like. I have been riding for over 20 years so I know how to take care of my bikes. You can even contact the Sun Honda/Kawasaki service department (Scott is the service writer I deal with) and they will vouch for me that all my bikes are in excellent condition and I have never missed a scheduled maintenance on any of them. I am asking $3,100 for it. I have at least $5,000 into it so I think that is a reasonable price. I will also include the full stock exhaust system and the factory service manual with the bike. I have a truck I could transport it in so I would be willing to deliver it for a fee. I am more concerned with it going to a good home then I am with selling it so if you send me a message saying "i haz monies and wntz yor bike brotato" I will probably not even reply. You would be surprised how many replies I have gotten like that from craigslist. Last futzed with by drunkn ghost; December 6th, 2010 at 12:25 PM. |

Between the purchase price, tax, mods and maintenance/services it's about 5k. I told myself I wouldn't buy any aftermarket parts for this one but I couldn't have my 70cc scooter sounding meaner then one of my bikes.

I drew a picture of it but didn't have anything to color it red so you might have to use some imagination. My butt is not really that big but I can't draw people as good as I can motorcycles.

Yeah that drawing was before the rejetting now there are rainbows coming out of the exhaust. I will also include one free drawing of the new owner on the bike if you don't try to haggle me on the price. If you do try to haggle me I probably won't go any lower and then I will draw you with a big butt just for trying.

Bike is posted on Denver craigslist for $3,000. That is as low as it's going if anyone is interested. If it doesn't sell by May my little brother is getting a pretty sweet birthday present.

Just because you are too poor to buy it doesn't mean everyone else is.
