as far as me dropping the ball on my end, not doing what i was asked to do, not understanding my "role", or misleading customers to think I had stock when I didn't - please, everyone knows better.

everything coming to me via DHL by tuesday? awesome!! tracking number please

future orders (should Shinto USA continue......) COD - even better!!!

i'm looking forward to receiving the shipment and hopeful that NO items are omitted this time.

stay tuned.......

And why is he asking you to call the post office...it's not like you control USPS.
i asked Vince to call to confirm this, as it all sounds strange to me.

Calling to confirm stateside would a good heads up to why this is happening.

So you have been dealing with Paul directly right? I just want to state a point again that the ninjette order is NOT the only issue with the SHINTO supply as previously quoted earlier in this thread.

"Vince owes me money...I was away growing the business...what, you sent money Vince...internet/phone was down...call/email me Vince...your orders will go out...I tried but postal says no...what should I do Vince...now I have to pay for it out of my pocket...why are you blaming me...okay I apologize, my fault...I will ship (but still haven't)."

Do you see (fingers crossed) the lame pattern of excuses after excuses, Paul? Are you that blind?

i care a great deal... i am extreamly angry at this postal situation....

The comment i dont have the money is really pethetic i am sorry. cos i am now forced to send this order out via DHL Express for $450++ on my own back. (EMS arpx would of been $170)

( i guess DHL has special agreement or what i dont know)
If you cared then you would have shipped it right then and there via DHL without having to email Vince about the situation. Heck, you could have shipped it MONTHS AGO!!! by taking the hit and collecting the funds later from Vince.

You seriously have no business mentality to be running a business. You FAIL in customer service and follow through.

I just ordered those Moth Rearsets (same ones you carry) from Club517 last night. I emailed them three times last night, and ALL THREE TIMES they responded back the SAME NIGHT! In addition, they provided tracking number via DHL the very same night.

WTF is Club517 doing that you can't do? You should seriously consider going to their shop and asking them how to run a business. Don't forget to take a notebook and pen/pencil.

Off topic - A personal thanks to Allan...you know what I'm talking about.

Your words mean nothing right now unless it has a series of numbers & letters that pertain to a shipment.

If I were you this would have been my post last night: "Sorry for the hold up guys, it's been shipped...here's the tracking number."

DONE! But no...you come here and argue and still don't provide any resolution.

This is what Alex and everyone else is trying to make you see.

Every single one of these shinto threads turns into the biggest cluster. I wouldn't do business with anybody who can't put a sentence together...just my opinion.

thats why I decided to pay a little extra and send my business elsewhere... I would read threads on the other shinto orders and all the members involved would send their payments knowing that the wait was ridonculous... but willing to give the guy a chance...

Its sad to see the mismanagement thats going on over at Shinto... It had so much potential... live and learn right? ... Hope it all works out for you guys

The thing I am finding hard to comprehend is how the F$&K does an an email get lost in the post.

I hate this excuse

"Sorry I didn't get your email"

"Well where the F&*K did it go. I sent it to the same address I alwasy have that I have received a reply from in the past.........."

^^^ Not personally to Shinto just an example of that the I didn't get lame excuse.

I think what is there some dead end letter place on the internet that all undeliverable emails go to.

I use the option where it sends you a receipt for when it makes it to the email server as the read ones are to easy to say don't send to. Then when the excuse I didn't get it arises I send the server receipt, funny that you get a.

"Ahhh yes I did get it but must have missed it" after that

Seriously electrons sent from emails don't disipate to nothing based on the distance travelled.

Seriously guys, pay the extra..what...$25-$75 or so more...so you won't have to deal with this crap.

Here's my tracking result from Club517 that I purchased on Wednesday:

Quote:
4 Processed at BANGKOK - THAILAND BANGKOK - THAILAND 21:12

3 Arrived at Sort Facility BANGKOK - THAILAND BANGKOK - THAILAND 20:23

2 Departed Facility in BANGKOK - THAILAND BANGKOK - THAILAND 19:35

1 Shipment picked up BANGKOK - THAILAND 15:42
Now, that's customer service and follow through!

I've pulled a couple of my own posts, in the last week, because I don't want to ramp up the rhetoric. Calling someone a liar, no matter how self-evident it may be, isn't going to get merchandise to our shores.

I'm certain other methods are in the works. So let's calm down.

This however I'd say that you may not be aware of the total history. It truly seems to have been one excuse after the next. Tuesday can not come fast enough.

May I ask Kurt if you have a product on order with Shinto?

To be fair, Hotmail routinely blackholes the ISP my brother works for and they've done it to Charter.net too. IOW, they never show up in any way (not even the spam folder) and no bounce/error is returned.

Yes, but admittedly, a small order compared to other's here. And I was one of those folks who pre-ordered the footpeg adjusters, that never happened.

Ok. The monies for the adjuster's is not lost at this point. I believe that can be refunded if needed. Get with Vince.

I guess the money amount could drive the "anger" at this point. I know if it were $25-50, not a super big deal however if I were in this for hundreds.... I'd be pissed! Loosing any amount of money is no fun. Especially if you feel you've been scammed. I wish everyone the best it getting the best possible resolution to this situation.

That would be the way to go if he was going to be a warehouse distributor, which takes a lot of investment and confidence that the stock of ordered product will sell before a local product potentially undercuts it. Using freight for group buys is only OK if everyone knows that it's going to be a long process and they are willing to wait for the savings.

I agree with Vince on this statement. This is getting ridiculous again. I'm more concerned with updates on my order at this point. I think we all need to respect the purpose of this thread and leave it at that. We are at 3, going on 4 pages of ranting again. If you are not waiting on an order, than please out of respect to those of us who are, don't post here.

one thing i want to say:

i have never had any desire to be a "distributor" in the literal sense of the word. i do not have the means or the desire financially to pony up a large chunk of change to stock inventory (although it doesn't appear the inventory would be available on paul's end - i may be mistaken on this). i feel i have been very clear on my "role" and what customers should be aware of when they order through me. obviously, i have no control over what happens on the supply side of things. when items i'm expecting are omitted from a shipment without me being notified ahead of time, there's not much i can do. when i update paul with orders and he doesn't let me know an item is unavailble, delayed, etc until after the pack has shipped, i'm left holding a bag of s--t to hand off to customers.

there is obviosly plenty of demand for shinto products, and i really would like to continue to bring them to you guys. that being said, i will not continue under the previous model. i have tried to explain to paul that this forum really is the key to building the shinto brand in the US. to protect you guys, as well as myself 1 of the following will need to take place:

a) paul fronts me inventory
B) i take 50% of the money up front, notify paul of orders, balance from customer is due once I receive product, paul gets the money after i ship to the customer.

i realize this is not the way a business typically operates, but paul has a long way to go to repair the shinto name on this forum. either he's willing to do this or he's not. either way i wish him the best and hope that he finds a real US distributor so that we all have access to his products in a more reliable fashion.

for currnet customers, i hope to have tracking info soon as paul stated the pack went out via DHL yesterday (i have not received anything from him at this point).

stay tuned........

Vince, after this experience of being a parts distributor, I suggest you go to work as a dentist. You've gained a lot of expertise at pulling teeth to this point.

Hope everything is in the box and all will end well, but I'm not so sure... we'll see.

GL to all of you that have parts on order.
