my reasoning would be for looks.. illmental, how low is that? ive seen some rear drops that lower up to 5" , the front can only go like 1-2" right? how much does it effect the ride ability at your drop level? im guessing the lower you go the less you can lean it in turns?

Unfortunately it was done at the shop.. (still a noob and was afraid of screwing it up) It was supposed to be an inch drop but looking at the Holes on my Roaring toyz links it's at 2 maybe 2 1/2 inches. The front Has the 1 inch bar riser's so I assume it's an inch. I say it's the lowest you can go because I weigh 165lbs, my shock is set on the highest setting and it can still bottom out on the under tail from a decent rut in the road. I rubbed a nice hole in my HotBodies undertail to prove it lol.. It handles pretty good to me, but be warned.. not nearly as good as normal height.. but it's not the impossible bike to ride like gung ho straight stock or nothing guy's like to tell you. I also run the 150 tire on the back so that doesn't really give me the best curve muncher on the road either, but I have had no issues in the mild curves we have around here..
All in all,to be honest I love it.. the look, the feel.. the ease of getting your feet planted. It's not for everybody I'm sure.. but if you're into it.. I say go for it! |

yeah the roaring toyz lowering link is the one im looking at, it goes from 1-5" drop so guess each hole lowers it 1" .. if you rub at 165lbs i def would rub then..loL! but i still have the stock tire so.. good info thanks!

Mine was done with a x10 modified link because there was no kit in the beginning. front done to match + a little more. UPright bottom clearance is 3.25 "
You will have clearance issues. With Spools. I take them off when I am not using, speed bumps, bottoming out if you don't stiffen the rear shock.. but once dialed in all is good. ....
