Honda car people! Help?

I have ran into a problem that I can't find where to fix it at. I have a 95 Accord LX (OBD1 F22), and it is throwing two codes 8, and 12. 12 being the EGR valve. No biggie. 8 being the TDC sensor, or the Crankshaft sensor. I have the new sensor to install, but I have no idea where it is.

I have searched high and low in the wonderful word of the internent, but have found many answers to the different locations on this sensor. Where is this thing at?

I did days ago, but no one seems to want to offer help. I have read so many threads on the form, but nothing leads to my answer.

Thats what I thought also! Code 8 is the TDC (Top dead center) sensor. I have found online that is it the same thing as the crankshaft sensor. It helps control the firing on the spark plugs.

Don't have a honda but from the cars I have worked on I usually see them near the flywheel or where the engine bolts to the transmission or near the crankshaft pulley. Usually see the camshaft sensor in the distributor. Can you find a recommended OEM site that lets you look at parts diagrams?

your tdc sensor is located next to you crank pully, you most remove timing cover to get to it, and also remove crank pully, i did on my 98 integra.....

It's inside the distributor. I never heard of anyone replacing that, only replacing the distributor for a tdc issue.

Looky
