They look good and add a nice splash of color to the bike.

I have been looking at levers myself... so you definately say those are good and satisfy you?

I have also been looking at http://www.rideitmoto.com/products.php?id=10 .

any opinions on those?

Hrmmm.... If these are anything like the Pazzo's they would actually weigh LESS than the stockers (not the other way around).

My point was that my real Pazzo's weighed less than the stock ones.

guys , they aren't pazzos, they are "replicas"

its not like they weight 5 pounds.. just they feel much more solid and do weigh a little more then stock.. they look much nicer, seems solid, and are adjustable

for $39 they are a steal in my book.. lots of people have purchased these on multiple bike sites.. if you want quality go pazzo or any of the other $180-300 dollar levers.. if you want a nice looking, decent quality and design lever , spend the $39 and be happy

The worst case scenario is that the brake lever does not return completely because it is just machined a slight bit off, fluid doesn't return through the MC and gets trapped, and the fluid heats up and causes the brake to engage. Have seen it on two different CBR600s, one R6, one R1, and two ZX10 "knock off" levers. Haven't seen it on the EX250 yet, keep your fingers crossed.

if I understand you correctly, the fact that the lever does not return completely will somewhat engage the break at all times. Wouldn't you be able to sense that by lifting ur front tire and seeing if it rotates freely?

I think he's referring to when the bikes were in motion and the rider didn't notice it not returning fully.

As far as the levers are concerned, there are quite a bit of people with them and no one seems to have had any problems so far. If the brake lever can wiggle up and down slightly, that would probably be enough to keep it from binding.

would that result in a the front break engaging abruptly and with full force ??

My gut feeling is that it will be a gradual application of the front break...

The lever is not binding on these. The plunger isn't fully seated, and the weep hole, where the fluid returns, is blocked. Once applied, the fluid gets trapped. The lever looks normal...the fluid stays in the lines and overheats, expanding and applying the brakes.

It looks like only a few have the issue - one of the R6s that I saw doing it, he had ordered two sets at the same time, one for him and one for his buddy. Identical bikes, one did it and one did not. On the affected one, we drilled out the plunger seat hole to match the good one and it worked fine. (He almost did a stoppied on the freeway - it did not feel like a gradual application).

Just be aware that once installed, take it easy until you're sure you're not having any issues. Like I said, I have not personally seen any problems with the EX250, but only those bikes I listed prior.

But fluid is always in the lines. If the weep hole gets blocked and fluid isn't able to return, wouldn't that just keep pressure on the brakes? If it did keep constant pressure on the brakes, I can see how it would cause the fluid to boil over.

Personally, I'm willing to pay more for something not made in China. They knock off almost every product and it's hurting us.

I feel what you are saying, but they both fit a different kind of market.
I currently own a 250R ninja and I believe I will upgrade to a bigger bike whenever I am confident enough and I feel it's the right time. I don't want to throw money at the 250r so I am getting the Chinese crap. Whenever I end up getting the bike I intend to keep I will throw the money and buy the good stuff. No question there.

agreed on cost issue.. if i had lots of cash i would by pazzos, then again if i had lots of cash i prob wouldn't have bought a ninja 250r.. I love the ninja dont get me wrong but i cant see me keeping it much beyond a year. its fun in the city no doubt but suffers on the highway , im 6ft3 205 pounds and id be happier on a larger bike.. didnt want something old and a new ninja for 4k was appealing

but while i have it for the next 6-12 months i may as well enjoy it

I bought the same levers for mine in april and after about 10,000kms they are still like new. Although i wish i did what you did and bought the longer clutch lever. But oh well... still love them.
