www.modmy250.com is now live!
http://www.modmy250.com
I finally got the website functional with all the stuff that I sell currently . I still need to start/finish the DIY section. I would also like to ask anyone who's ever bought something from me if they will allow me to post pictures of their bikes in my customer rides section. Please feel free to send me pictures or post them here and I will put them into a gallery on my site. You can email pictures to tricharlotte@sbcglobal.net. Please also include any info you want to share. Ex: Tri N. Bay Area, CA Mods include: Super power rangers turbo force etc etc. You also can just send pics without any additional info, although a user name would help to identify your pictures to people browsing the site. I'm still working out the kinks with my brother, who helped me write the complex parts of it. Thanks! Tri

Nice, can't wait to see how your product line grows. I am about ready to attempt the HID lights and it would be awesome if you sold the DIY kit on the site

Hey Tri,
I emailed a few images. Good luck with your site. "They" say it is good to have a couple of hobbies. People often change careers these days and having an outside interest can often be the way to transition.

Just some feedback, not to start any kind of flame war or anything... But all that pleasure yourself to the lord stuff on the front page is a huge turn off. I wouldn't take a site like that seriously or buy anything there unless it was a last resort.

Loving the fact you ship to Canada! Great looking site so far.
In your decals section, ZX-2R? Little confused as to this. I mean, I know why someone might add this, but since our bike isn't a ZX-2R and never claims to be part of the "super sport" to me this seems silly.

Thanks! I'm going to stick with what I have for now, but will investigate the body glow kit in a future time. I just need time to focus on a test I have to pass for work and get back into my exercise routine. When things settle into a rhythm for me and I find some spare time, I will likely work on a body glow kit.

Thanks . Also, if there are more suggestions on products you would like to see, let me know. I have some rear LED blinkers on the way which I'm making for someone as a special case. I'll post pics to see if anyone else thinks it's worth stocking.

I think the Rear led blinkers will be a hit, and if you can also make those undertail extra stop light things that'll be awesome

undertail extra stop light things? you mean extra set of LED strips wired into the brake light? How do people attach them? I see some people drill holes into the plastic. Double sided stick tape?

You need a kit for that hazard light mod and put it on the site.

Speaking of hazard lights, the other day I saw a rider using it on the freeway just riding along at full speed at night. Didnt look like he was having problems but instead was using it as a safety feature instead. Is that even legal?

I can do that. I didn't get much response from my DIY, so I didn't think anyone was really interested.

Congratulations on starting this
I second the opinion that a Bible citation on the front page is going to cost you some business. But well: your site, your rules Good luck with the venture ! Vegedurden

If people find my belief and faith offensive, then that's on them. I think it's funny that a sincere faith can be condemned or seen as offensive, but if I wrote something that supported gay rights, I'd be seen as a "cool" person. If anything, one would think that making a purchase from a person who believes that stealing is wrong and is a sin would also mean that they're not going to get scammed. I'm not out to make a million dollars from my site. Everything I sell on here, I sell on there and I don't expect I'll be getting much traffic from other forums. It's a side hobby and not much else. I just figured it'd be easier for people to go to the site and buy from there at their own convenience than to pm me and wait for a response. As a matter of fact, there's not one thing on that site that you can't make for yourself if you have the right tools for it.
If you really have a problem buying from someone because you don't agree with what they believe in, then I would suggest you're not as "open minded" as you think you are.

I would also be excited to see a number of additional sticker options. Larger sizes, possibly similar to the ole 636 "ZX-6R" side fairing size and one in between, maybe in a gunmetal/ dark grey. Dare I say maybe even a 250RR sticker...(or a 150RR for those with a 150 rear radial, j/k) I will be placing my order for the ZX-2R stickers, might go on the bike or the toolbox, or both. I also like the PNP additional front blinkers tucked up under the front fairing....might have to get those too.
I will wait until some dark winter month befor I tackle the headlight....fo sho. In the future I hope you have a bunch of the fun small items that we can order a bunch of and not feel guilty. "Honey, it was only $5....for this one"

Dan, if you can get me dimensions of the stickers you want, I'm sure I could make some for you.
