blackhawk farms

I am planning on going to the track day later this month. Has anyone on this forum been to Blackhawk before, what kind of bike prep do you need to do? I spoke with a guy who works at a local bike dealer, and he said all you need to do is tape up your lights. Kind of skeptical, but if thats all you need to do than I'm good to go!

register at nesba.com if you haven't, need to disconnect the front and rear bulbs, tape your lights and take off your license plate, also put numbers in front. I will be there on september 3rd 1st time on the track with my 09 zx6r. You taking a 250r there? should be fun

yea, i'll be bringing the 250. blackhawk farms track is north of Rockford, IL or directly south of Beloit, WI. for my track day i will be registering thru blackhawk. i believe NESBA is a track club for people who hit the tracks a lot. when i get to that stage of addiction i will consider joining. but yea, pretty excited. 3 more weeks.

Think we gona goto Gingerman on the 13&14 then on on thursday night and skip blackhawk

Might hit autobahn on WOW if they have it again. (wow = wide open wendsday)
My buddy hit Gingerman last thursday night. Ran counterclockwise and was one of 8 people on the track.
30 min on track 10 min break 30 min back on the track for 4 hours.
Now thats almost open track. for $75 He was wore out.

Killer deal.

$75 that is a good deal! too bad milwaukee to gingerman takes 4 hours. looks like a good track too.

Its my home track.

Best friend lives 45 min away.
Autobahn in Joliet is a nice facility. 3 tracks in one. North course is great for the 250.

me, nesba running sept 3-5.. i will be there only on the 3rd in B group as a noob.

Had no idea you can register with blackhawk. All my buddies go with nesba.
