Help Me Birthday Shop
My wife came to me asking what I wanted her to buy my motorcycle for my birthday. (She a total keeper, obviously.)
So, I'm looking for suggestions. I'm pretty happy with my current gear, so I'm probably looking at mods. Here is what I've got so far: Pro Grip 719 Grips, Pro Grip Tank Pad, Heavyweight Bar Ends, Evotech Fender Eliminator, Evotech Exhaust Hanger Bracket, LED Flushmounts, Area P Quiet Core Exhaust with Dynojet, Pirelli Sport Demon Tires, Shogun Rear Spools/Sliders, Brake light modulator. Right now, I'm thinking shogun sliders, new brake pads (EBC sintered), maybe a braided brake line to improve front brake performance, a rear seat cowling, or maybe tinker with my seating position with bar risers. Suggestions welcome, doesn't have to be mods -- I'm hoping someone comes up with something I haven't thought of that would be cool or comes in raving about something they have that they love. Not sure what price she's got in mind, probably a couple hundred bucks total.

Honestly, how often do you really need the brakes for street riding? I don't know about you, but I personally ride "The Pace" and rarely brake. Granted the 250 could use some help with feel there, but I don't think it is necessary for the street.
If an Area P w/Dynojet is on the table, that would be what I went for, unless you are truly happy with the power you have now. The Sport Demons are probably what I would put next on the list. Boring, sure, but you're gonna need them sooner rather than later, and it gives you an excuse to ride harder knowing you have a set waiting to put on. Ask me how I know! (I may have a set of BT-016s waiting to go on the ZX.) As far as thinking of something you haven't, well that is a pretty lengthy list, but if something comes to mind, I'll be sure to post.

No one sees your front turning signals much anyways, it's mostly for show IMO if you really think about it, unlesss they shoulder check and see your turning..
Maybe paint your rims?

As to concerns I may not need brake upgrades . . . well, um, err, I sort of went through the OEM front pads in 4000 miles.

Corbin seat
I just ordered a Corbin front seat earlier today after reading about them in this thread.
Considering your rear is the single largest bike/human contact point the seat seemed like a worthwhile towards improving comfort |
