Sportisi, Shinto, or Sato???

hey guys. been reviewing rearsets for a bit now. jw what experiences you've had with them on quality, prices, customer service, and which you would prefer.

from my understanding they're all adjustable, but beyond a little bit of price difference, what are the differences? thanks in advance! and pics are always welcome!

Shinto you might not ever get, sportisi you will get... Eventually.. And Sato I don't know enough about.

get the bohemian rearsets, they are like Sato's but better. there is a group buy thread in the market place. its already over but if you call the owner maybe he will still sell them at the GB price. o yea, and the owner has fantastic customer service. very responsive.

I have owned a few Satos and just purchased my first set of bohemian rearsets and can tell you without a doubt the Satos are superior

i thought i had read that the Sato was based off the Shinto or is either very similar to it. can anyone confirm this? i was leaning towards the Sato purely because that's what i've heard the most about. i'd like to be confirmed on the quality of them.

if there are any other brands out there that i haven't come across that are worth mentioning.

How are they better when they're exactly the same?

Sato rear sets are top notch, you won't find better quality. I'm a cnc machinist(15 years) and the fit/finish of all the pieces is impressive. I ordered the silver clear anodized ones few months ago and love them. A bit more expensive than some other rear sets but you get what you pay for

Buy nothing from Shinto. The word itself is not
supposed to be spoken on this forum.

Group buys gone bad, many unhappy customers, many unfulfilled promises. Search on Shinto on this site, and the threads will come up.

i ran the group buy on the bohemian rearsets and ive never owned satos but i am told they are near identical. the only difference is the price. satos for 450 or the bohemian (moth) for 220 shipped if u can getthe group buy price from dennis (which he will prob give you if u email him)

again, i never owned satos so i cant speak on them, but the bohemians lined up perfectly, were relatively easy to install ( i actually used the sato rearset DIY install instructions from this site to install mine), look great, shift smooth and shorter than the stock shifter and i saved over 200 to spend on another mod they are made w 7075 alloy aluminum (stuff used by nasa and airline companies for parts) and are machined using the exact same specs as the satos.

heres pics of my green bohemians. and check out the group buy thread in marketplace to read other peoples opinions, we had over a dozen people in on the group buy and a few more jump on the deal after. and dennis at bohemian has EXCELLENT customer service as stated above.

I would also recommend the bohemian sets. I had a top of the line set on my RC and the ones from bohemian are just as good. They look great, fit perfect, and from what I can tell they are build to last. Mine still look new and I have a few hundred wet, rainy, and sandy miles on them.
