UPDATE: Well so much for getting there tonight. I had to work later than I expected and won't be making it tonight. Stupid overtime, like the pay, hate putting in the extra hours though.

No worried. I ended up not going. It rained all evening.

Yea that kept me from going too. And once again tonight I was planning on a nice relaxing ride, and of course right now it's storming pretty hard. Gotta love central florida.....

Yeah the weather has made planning difficult. But I'm up for riding especially weekends! Hit me up.

Hey guys! Just scheduled a meetup for Sunday to go to Daytona Beach on our meetup site. Anyone who is interested, we're meeting up at the Sanford Panera Bread at 8:30, KSU @ 9. It would be cool to see new faces!

Oh also. Kristian got a jacket. $400 alpinestars for $130. We are going to practice this week. She isn't into the long rides, but I might be able to get her to a SNS meet. Hot jacket.

Cycle gear. Guess it pays to be small.

I think I am going to get these. They get really good reviews on the sportbike forums. .3mm thicker than most of the expensive ones.

I got to see now. How long does it usually last?

Also, if it doesnt rain today, anyone down to ride with a n00b around a bit? I got a feeling I'll be bored and want to ride once I get home from school (which is around 6:45.).

Anytime after 6 I'm usually around. Although the past few nights I have been glued to the tv watching my Red Sox play. I'll be at SNS tomorrow if the weather holds up.

If one more Kawi showed up, we'd have had more cumulative displacement than the one Harley that did...

Yeah we were the only crazy ones that went out on our bikes. And I rode it home Sunday afternoon. Roads were still soaked but the actual downpour had slowed. LoL I'm gonna be heading down to Daytona Saturday afternoon. Prob around 3. Don't wanna ride alone. Anyone else going? I'll be coming home that evening.

I'm likely headed out there Saturday morning. Give me a holler when you get out that way, I'll probably find a way to spend all day out there. I'm trying to get my buddy with the Versys to ride out, but I'm willing to bet he won't spend all day, even if he goes...

I have to work in the morning now... so I'll try and hook up around 3 and ride out with you if possible. My co-worker with the Versys is likely coming, too.

I went out there today to the Speedway for demo rides and was disappointed. The only manufacturers that were there were Yamaha and Spyder. So I rode a V Star 950 and a FZ6R. The 950 was nice for a cruiser, smooth, surprisingly quiet, decent power and was nicely balanced so it didn't feel all that heavy. I still wouldn't own one cause it's just not my style and I don't like having my legs out in front of me. For some reason having them more than 90 degrees on a bike just doesn't feel right. Still loven the FZ6R and it's currently my first choice of bike for a future upgrade.

I guess I'll have to wait until bike week 2012 to demo the new Kawasaki's.
