Just wanted to put a list up of the modifications that I'm going to be getting this September and October as I'll be coming into some money. I'll start off in order of what i'll be ordering first and want the most. Seperating the list between September and October as well. Any additional info I can get from you guys and girls would be great.
September: 1. Woodcraft Clip-Ons. $170 shipped. 2. 150/60 rear tire and 120/60 front. Unsure pricing. 3. T-Rex frame sliders. $96+ shipping. 4. Dark smoke double bubble screen. $65+ shipping. 5. Integrated taillight. $80 shipped. October: 1. Black rear hugger. $100+ shipping. 2. Black front wheel fender. $105+ shipping. 3. Black tail section. $100+ shipping. 4. Hotbodies undertail Black. $180+ shipping. 5. Black OEM seat cowl. $100 local shop. So thats the list for now. What are yalls thought or opinions?

Sounds like a great list...post pics as you go along please, I really like to look at lots of pictures of the different products I can't see in person before I buy...
I've been trying very hard to fight off the mod bug. I think once it finally does bite me it will be very hard to stop modding this bike Must stay strong... |

Yeah I've been fighting it too. But I dont have anything else to spend the money on and I'm bad at saving so I figure what could it hurt. A portion of these things will be bought from Ebay I will post product pictures as I receive them.

120/60 in the front is a step backwards. Stick with a 110/70, in a construction that matches whatever you put on the rear. We have a mongo "list your mods" thread going on: right over here...

I'm keeping the stock exhaust for now. Trying to sell the MGP Growler exhaust I have cause it's just to loud for me.

They go for around $130 shipped. That could be a reason you can't move it.

Well I paid $285 shipped from Hotbodies with MGP decals which most dont have. If I can't get $200 for it I'll just keep it for the track.

For all the stuff about the seat cowl, rear sections, etc, try this place out.
Would definitely recommend them. Good stuff. Reasonable prices. I don't know if anyone ever found them before, but this could be big since they have lots of nice looking stuff. Pyramid Plastics : Ninja 250R

___________________________________________________________________ Not sure what year you have but the Pyramid Plastic's rear section is cool because it is a fender eliminator, seat cowl, and under-tail all in one. Just cool in my opinion.

Well here's a little update to how it sits now. Got the woodcraft clip-ons, grips, levers, windscreen, and the shocker sticker so far. Next is bar-end mirrors. Lmk what you think.

yeah I'm not to sure about doing the black pieces anymore. And I just bought a spray gun and have a booth in my garage so if I do it will be the Kawi paint. Also if I decide to do the black pieces I will be getting my wheels powder coated red

money out the window
$1,000 plus shipping and that's without the most expensive and important options (eventually), tires and shipping. On top of that YOU will be DIYing it as well. Maybe if you had a 2012 and were an experienced rider (decades). But you're gonna do this to a 3 year old 250, I'm probably wrong about you owning it for 3 years, but in the end age is age, and moving up is moving up.

id love to remove my tank graphics that are cleared on from the factory and repaint it pearl.. id even be tempted to try and remove them and just reclear the tank but my guess is it would probably peel up the paint removing those since they were most likely applied to 1day old paint then cleared.

to repaint it you do not need to take all the paint off. You just need to scuff it up so the new paint sticks...
