Howdy Leo:

I reread the post, and I somehow missed "stepson" the first time. Don't feel guilty about the Ninjette (can I get an "Amen" from all the Ninjetteers???), especially if you've gone and bought a vehicle for someone else's responsibility. As I approach my 42nd year and look forward to marriage and having kids (May, 2012 is our target month) it burns to see someone like you step up and try to take care of a child, even if he is not your own, and get basically punked out like that. Who are those people to tell you how to spend your money? You bought the SUV for the convenience of the baby, not THEM. I seem to smell something fishy going on here...it seems like they are more concerned about what's in it for them, and they are using the baby as a guilt trip to make you buy something more appropriate for their tastes. THEY are not your responsibility, but you stepped up to do something selfless and for the baby. As many of the members here have so eloquently said, flip them the double bird and tell them to go **** off. Enjoy the Ninja!

You did a really stand up thing. Not many guys would do what you did for a chick they aren't married to and with a kid who isn't theirs. From the sound of it, it seems she has some growing up to do. You went above and beyond and you should be proud of that.

I was gonna say "sell her and HER kid and buy more motorcycles" but she seems to have taken care of that. It sounds like you're better off without her. Don't worry, your Ninja's parents will never get between you and your bike.

Sorry to hear that, Leo. Generally speaking, if someone (or their family) makes a huge deal about stupid stuff such as this then maybe your better off not being in a relationship with them anyway. Best of luck.

Dude, how old are you? Finish up school, get your degree, get a kick ass job that you love, THEN worry about finding that girl with no kids. Trust me. Ask me how I know this...

This might sound f*cked up but I would take this as a win. Now you don't have to raise someone else's child nor deal with "in-laws" who act like you're supposed to do anything differently for someone else's child, you get what I'm saying?
Nothing wrong with raising a step-child but I do think it's problematic when you've only been with the girl for a short period of time.

One thing I do have to ask is did this girl not have her own vehicle?

Its not ****ed up, i talked about this alot among my family because she had been seeing my family and its just embarrassing more then anything to be honest. Yea i miss her and yea your right about the child. I didnt/dont mind but it sounds like she wants the baby daddy in his life so whats done is done. And now, she dont have a car. Or licence. I WAS going to get her a car after her licence but thats the past. ...And im the bad guy..

Find yourself a real woman. Men and women, some people never really leave the nest, emotionally speaking. That's a decades worth of headache you don't need to burden yourself with.

Meanwhile, you should call them up and ask them to meet you out on their yard. When you see all of them lined up out on the grass, wheelie the **** out of the Ninja through their street.
