Would like to thank those who have served and those who are serving. You all are the best!

Like to take the time to remember my Dad who fought in WWII. He went through hell but never complained, he barely would speak of his time in. I had no idea what he really went through till he passed away and I was given his chest with his medals and certificates and letters.

Celebrating Vet Day at work.....kinda nice being here and so close to so many that I, as a newer generation VFW, can thank those from the earlier generations.

A couple of years ago when I worked at Walter Reed a few of us went to the D.C. Armed Forces Retirement Home and spent the day with vets from from Nam back to WWII. It was pretty amazing.
