wow. beautiful. so many people would ask WHY in the world would someone ever spend that much time and money on a puny little 250???! but I say job well done!!! its perfect and you can be proud of that bike. I see the love for that bike just by looking at it. I'm interested in what you think about the efi kit as well, but I do have to say, you should look into the Area P 18" race exhaust. Kerry is a member here, and everyone with an Area P loves their systems. BEAUTIFUL bike mate. I'm in love with it already. and very jealous I dont have that much time to make mine that custom

Oh my god. I fell in love. I saw this on the random image generator, so I knew it was someone's here.

This is one absolutely BEAUTIFUL bike. I fell in love with the gulf livery after I saw this on the sohc honda forum, which inspired me to go with that scheme as well :

Just glad people are keeping it alive and finding all sorts of mediums to apply it to. Like my friend said, gulf livery goes on ANYTHING.

WAH - What a Hammer, this is the most beautiful Ninja I've ever seen.

Only one question I have: Did you use the original RAL-Colorcodes?

O M G, your bike is freaking beautiful. My bike said she doesn't even want to leave the house now.

Are those grips from the2wheels? I ordered some from them just like that, wondering how you like them.

I actually had a hard time finding them, and I paint for a living. I intended on converting them to peals anyway to modernize so I just found modern codes.

That seems to be the norm when doing gulf paint. But doing a bit of searching will give a few different ones.

OMNI MBC 2626 Powder Blue
MBC 60812 Topaz Orange
MBC 3146 Regal Blue (for the pinstriping between the two colors)

That's the general consensus on the codes, but others will get different colors depending on their taste. Like me, I went for a bit darker blue, because I'm only doing the blue for now (orange comes when I PC the frame), and I didn't want it to look extra girly while I waited for it :P

Smile Colorcodes Gulf

If you don't know the original colorcodes you can look at Spies-Hecker - Colour Solutions (www.spieshecker.com).
The codes are: 59401 for Gulf-Blue and 29079 for Gulf-Orange.
The original codes for Porsche are: 328 for Gulf-Blue and 019 for Gulf-Orange.
Maybe this can give you some help.

No EFI for me

I DON't want to open a huge debate but screw the EFI. That is NOT "plug-and-play" I came to build this bike from building VW's for about 20 years now so I know the differance between PNP and fabrication. Tweaking is fair but the price is WAY out of line for the install issuses, quality issues and tuning issues. I can think of better performance mods for that cash.

I'm sure they would! The manufactured ones are all over-built and cost a fortune and the $20 eBay one just looks...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/License-plat...item58872ed4b0

I refuse to buy those $80+ ones that are usually over $100 shipped but I need to get my plate off my undertail so that the secondary blinkers will be visible from behind. My integrated tail light really isn't visible to people like me who are color-blind, so I need those secondary blinkers.

I've got all the tag light bolts, reflector bolts, and wiring. If you chose to do this, just undercut those rip-offs, tell me how much, and tell me where to send payment!
