New to me Track bike......

I've been searching long and hard for a salvaged Daytona 675 to turn not a track bike but I just came across an excellent deal for 07 with some engine work done and suspension work already done. I'm picking her up next Saturday as long as no snags come up!*

I had track bodywork already ordered for my street bike and just canceled the order. I was not *looking forward to painting and mounting up the body work and taking it back off again after the track weekend in Pahrump.

Here is the new (to me) bike that will soon be in the stable.

Thanks!!!

I'm really excited for sure...can't wait to see what this Penske rear shock hype is all about. And what good is going fast when you can't stop, so I ordered a brembo rcs master cylinder too.

I have a Penske triple on my ZX6RR and really like it. Make sure the shock is set up for your weight...may need to change the spring if necessary.

Well I picked her up today in Cali an on my way back now.... The paints not perfect but it's what's underneath the skin that counts right.? The bike sounds like a beast and makes me feel all warm a gooey inside.*

I call her Ms Galore.... AKA Pussy Galore

The name is inspired by Austin Powers lol my wife hates it tho...

Can't wait till the track weekend at pahrump this month!*

Nice bike! The Daytona is basically a scalpol on the track (and street) your going to love it! I'm digging the Union jack paint scheme as well.

Godly I noticed u have a D675, have you taken it to the track? By your post I am assuming yes.
When I have time to repaint the bike I'm going to keep the union jack but do just black and white.

I love the D675 and have a black 08 but really hated the idea of taking my baby to the track. So I settled on a dedicated track bike.

Here are the two side by side, one looks mean and ready to pounce the other looks so elegant and purdy...
