front/rear sprocket installation info
I imagine it has been done plenty of times by others, but this bike is new to me and before I tear into something, especially potentially screwing it all up, it'd be nice to have some clear, easy to understand, step-by-step instructions for the front and rear sprocket.
I did the front/rear swap on my wifes' Honda Rebel and they both took about an hour each. The front was easier though. I did NOT have to remove the rear wheel for the rear sprocket swap. Also, I did not have to cut the chain. I was thinking 15/42 as per the recommendations in this forum, for good around town performance with reduced vibes on the highway, a little better MPG too. Is there a write up anyone would recommend for the F/R sprocket swap? |
