Adrian and I met up for a quick ride last night, we talked about going on a longer ride (anyone interested?) on a weekend when there's more time. Hopefully, I will get to meet more of you in the area and gain more experience on my Ninjette.

hey sorry that was a sick day for me so i didn't go. anyway i thought you two were "helping each other out" that day. also, is anybody else on the ocmoto forum? they have a "noobie" ride coming up on sunday. also also, has anybody been to the monthly ride with long beach motorsports? they have another one coming up and i wanna check it out. let me know!

also also also, we HAVE to get a 250 group ride through gmr. i have a gsxr buddy who says 250s aren't capable of having any fun on that ride.

The OC moto noob ride is kind of boring tbh, too many bikes and most people tend to stay in the group they came with and don't really mingle, the ride is super slow as well.

As for GMR your gixxer buddy is an idiot if he thinks a 250 can't take that road, 250s can corner so well they pretty much can own it. as far as proving it probably won't get too many takers from here. We all have the kind of been there done that on those roads and have given up aggressive mountin riding in favor of getting our thrill on at the track. There is pretty much nothing of worth on that road nothing to see all you can do is try and go as fast as you can and it's silly.

I'll be setting up a ride for Frazier park coming up in may as that is a bad ass ride with lots to see and is a very pretty ride as well as quite a few in the summer if you are interested. I have not set any up this year yet as I have been super busy with ****.

Balls. It's a bummer to hear about the ocmoto ride. I've been to a few of their events and they've been a great group so far. I'll still be checking it out. I know it's a slower paced ride but I'm still pretty new and I thought there might be some other 250 riders who really just want to get more time on their bike and get a good group experience.

And about GMR, that's exactly what I thought. He's kinda one of those guys that'll goad you into a game of "Who's is Bigger?" That's why he's more of a third or fourth tier friend. I'm sure it's not as thrilling as the track but again I was hoping there'd be other 250 members who'd just like some experience in the canyons. I know a lot of you guys are really experienced 250 riders but this is my first bike and I'm just looking for a group to ride with to have some laid back fun.

Yup, that was actually the weekend before I got the 636

The 250 is perfect for GMR, but I good (not think they are good like your GSXR friend lol) rider on a 600 will still win

I liked the OC moto noobie ride. It's not technical - it's scenic. It was fun! That is going to be the day after we get back from the track so I dunno how most of the group will feel about joining that. I'm thinking about it.

but yeah kevin, havok, myself are on ocmoto with the same usernames.
