question
here is a question. Do you ever feel like you may be out growing the ninjette? I love it don't get me wrong, but sometimes I would like to have a little better response of the throttle.

Around the city, I definitely feel like I don't need any more bike, but every time on the interstate I feel I could use more power. I also feel that I'm too damn big for the 250 and I could do with a bigger bike.
Most of the time I feel pretty happy with it, especially when I go full throttle from the stoplight and realize I probably shouldn't be playing with a bigger bike. That being said, I plan on getting a 600 and keeping the 250. For better throttle response, get a full exhaust, jetting, and airbox. |

though I have just randomly posted something, then slammed shut down on desktop which just force kills everything. Then Firefox opens with 100 tabs of Ninjette.org in the morning. |

A supersport on its rear wheel will go really well with your helmet.

Luckily OP isn't talking about a supersport.
4th at 60 makes for good passing on the 250. You have to work it to get what you need on these lower HP bikes. Makes things interesting. |

I've always heard from members here that you may 'outgrow' the engine but you probably won't 'outgrow' it's cornering capabilities. My planned approach to riding my 250r will be, to quote @Jiggles, "If the Ninja 250 doesn't have enough power for you, then you don't know how to ride it."

Say what you want it’s an amazing bike, but there are some downsides and size might be one of them so at >6’2 you probably outgrew it =P
On a more serious note wanting a bit more power out of your bike is pretty common phenomenon and won’t change even after moving to a 650 or 600 and so on. But different bikes have different attributes and after getting comfortable riding with the little ninja I’d encourage you to go try some other bikes to attempt finding that perfect machine. It seems the search makes many appreciate the 250 a lot more
