The local radio station thread
Just about all local radio stations have a website with streaming capabilities.
I figured you could post up the links to the web pages so we can all see or listen to what you normally listen to. Of course, you XM users will have a hard time with this one, but ya, you can just post up the channel name and the channel. For me: www.ksbj.org www.ngenradio.com And typically in the AM on my way home from work, I listen to: www.khcb.org And if I want to listen to some classic rock (slightly NSFW due to "babe of the day" in the sidebar): http://www.937thearrow.com/

I use to listen to NPR but been off the whole radio as of late.
I like the 94.5 The Buzz. www.thebuzz.com. Pretty sure it's the same host and webdesigner for 93.7 The arrow too. LOL.

LOL, I think they are all owned by Clear Channel, so that would explain it.

The KQRS Morning Show in Minneapolis (supposedly) has a very high rating nationwide. Always on at our shop.

I listen 105.7 The Point in St. Louis for the morning show - Woody and Rizzuto. I'll listen to their show when I'm riding my bike (or the cage) into work and then stream it on my computer at work. Love their show.
Other than the morning show I'll usually only listen to the station when taking short trips to the store or whatever, otherwise I'm playing MP3s off my phone. Kinda works out with the Woody and Rizz show b/c they call their listeners/fans "WaR Ninjas" and they're always handing out "Ninja" stickers so I snagged one to slap on my helmet: |

I listen to KPOO San Francisco. "Poor People's Radio" 89.5. Mostly 9am to noon Monday through Wednesday for the blues shows. Bobby Webb hosts on Tuesday. Also the Board of Supervisor's meeting on Tuesday afternoon, Rebel Music on Wednesday, and some good latenight jazz.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hack_%28comedy%29 Most of those radio shows don't write their own material. They all use the same ****** bits with different names and "characters", but you'd never know it until you live in a few different cities and hear the same bits everywhere you go. Whether it's the prank phone calls, or the bit they use to catch cheating spouses like War of the Roses. It's all manufactured junk.
