Iphone mount

I'm sure someone has done it but yeah i bought this $6 iphone mount from Hong Kong which turned out to be a really good product. I basically just wanted it for zipping around the city with my GPS app guiding me. after a week or two I got sick of my phone running out of battery from using the gps so i went down to battery world and got 2 cables one with a fuse attached. One was a cigarette lighter socket and that joined into another cable which was built to attach to the battery terminals. So yeah was a very easy installation, i just ran the cable up with all the other wiring through to the bars and zip tied it on. It works really well, I find it really helpful being able to charge my phone while riding. I can upload pics if anyones interested

Post them up so we can see. I have a iPhone 4S and wanted to be able to mount it on the bike and be able to charge at the same time.

As a sort of a joke, we got a magnetic parts cup from autozone with a huge honking magnet on the bottom and pried it off. We super glued it onto a rigid iphone case we had laying around.

The parts tray magnet came with a rubbery cover, so we can set the whole shebang on the gas tank and it doesn't scratch. As an added perk, my wife took the shallow metal parts dish and put it under her bra (think viking lady bra). The phone sticks to her boob like magic. What a handy place to keep a phone!
