Hey guys hopefuly yous can help me out but a mate of mine recently go defected for having a fender eliminator on his bike. $100 later and was told to put the stock fender back on. I want to change mine but i don't want to get done for it. So is there a Aftermarket legal fender eliminator out there or is there a better looking OEM one from another bike I can use/modified. I know most of you guys will be saying whats the point but seriously I can't stand at looking at that piece of Sh!t on the back of my bike.
All I know is It has to cover 45 degrees from the middle of the rear wheel to be legal. I think its save the people behind me of getting rocks in the face/windscreen ![]() |

DIY fender eliminator posted by our lovely forum administrator Alex about the fender chop he performed.
I modified my stock fender as well using this method. Much improved over stock. |

From my earlier post about the fender chop I decided that route since it leaves the plate light, turn signals, and plate mount intact. Granted I did remove the rear turn signals in favor of an integrated tail light but the option is still there to put them back on. |

i havent seen a fender eliminator kit that doesn't eliminate it completely.
i would go with the chop like everyone suggests. just measure where the 45 degree angle meets and cut. |
