Great picture... those old plugs actually look pretty damn healthy! Problem has to be elsewhere. Next step the carbs and fuel filters.

Yeah!, I'll definitely start researching those jobs next; I am just happy my bike works again (I am not sure if it was actually broken or I was a moron and didn't let it warm up; but i was pretty sure I did because I definitely was riding on it for a few minutes and the performance was pretty bad prior to replacing the plugs; if I closed the choke the bike would just stutter {and its was like 70 degrees out}; NOW instead, the bikes rpms increase as it should. I'm just happy the bike isn't being a scooter =).

I also have to tighten my chain because since the throttle response wasn't as good with the old plugs, i didn't really feel the jolt from acceleration when the chain would go taught...now i do :P

Thank you for all your help. Taking off the fairings was like 50% of the battle, getting the boots in and out was like 30% and replacing the plugs was like 20%

Also that picture was taken with a really crappy DSLR with a really crapply Lens, both of which are from 2006.

I'm guessing the one with the slightly lighter color of brown.
I wish I knew which plugs were where but I lost track.

No, the ceramic and the ground electrode are covered by red dust, typical of good mix.

There is minimum cover on the plug on the left side.
Note the green dots as well.

Interesting... Now I see what you mean. What would the green dots represent?

Not sure, but it may be a form of corrosion, which is frequently associated to the high temperatures produced by lean mixes.

"Spark plugs can ignite leaner fuel mixtures, but only by increasing spark energy. Unfortunately, these high voltages erode spark plug electrodes" -from an article about lasers potentially replacing spark plugs in the future.
