I Crashed...In the Locker Room

I wound up with 40+ stitches via the handy work of a plastic surgeon. If not, my eyebrow might be been a little rearranged.

I essentially worked out too hard and didn't eat/drink enough today. To top it off, I jumped into a hot tub. I felt dizzy and left to go to the shower to try to recover, but as I jumped into the shower I fainted and smashed my face into the door Urgent care immediately passed me to the ER cause they could see my skull through the laceration. Got a scan and some fluids through an IV as I waited to get patched up. Wasn't exactly how I expected to spend my Saturday evening, but I now have a story to tell.

dang, gotta stay hydrated and eat. Your sugar levels were probably super low as well as being dehydrated. Not good.

Dude, that's going to be a sweet scar when it heals. Now you just need a better story to go with it. I'm thinking something that involves a shark. With a gun. Yup, a shark with a gun.

lol

I've had stitches in the exact same spot just behind my eyebrow. I slipped on some stairs in elementary school and my head fell square on the edge of one of the steps.

Didn't even know I was bleeding until one of the teachers looked at me funny and that's when I saw blood gushing out of my forehead.

Happen to me at home years ago when i was 2. nearly 2 decades later and the middle portion of my eyebrow still won't grow.
Some Koreans think it's cool as hell and thought i got it via plastic surgery. lol'd so bad when they told me that.

Oh and, did you not have a pre-workout meal prior? That's bad bro.

I did actually. I had pasta about 90 minutes-2 hours before. Being a skinny guy with crazy metabolism, I probably should of had a granola bar or almonds before working out or at least some Gatorade during. Lesson learned.

I didn't get a chance to make the most of the scar. I wound up being holed up studying for midterms and cranking out papers most of the week! I probably won't get get much more out of it cause I got the stitches taken out yesterday. I probably won't have too much of a scar or so the plastic surgeon says. Not sure why people are so afraid of scarring that they automatically call in a "specialist", but oh well. He did give me a picture from before I got patched up and it's a pretty gnarly looking gash.
