Hanibal (Brian) and Kit, you two are awesome! I'd love some help teaching the noobs. Just a session or two of showing them some lines and watching their BP to help them get started. We're gonna have so much fun, I'm so excite!!!!

Not sure what size you wear, but I also still have a spare Dainese one piece in a woman's 46 (I'm 5'6" 130 lbs and it fit me perfectly). Might need a little duct tape, but it's more than adequate if it'll fit

A bunch of the racers will be there for the weekend... And we could take you and your bike out there and back for you. But we won't be back until Sunday so you'd need to find a ride back Friday afternoon for yourself and we could drop off the bike later.

Got a two-piece Alpine Stars with their Stella gloves. I REALLY like the Dianese back guard but got the Icon Women's Stryker Vest for the front side protection; got to protect the ladies!!
Now I just need boots. I think I want the ones that go under the pants. Any suggestions? |

Nice suit!!!! I honestly don't know much about boots fitting under the suit. I know the Dainese Torque Ins are designed to fit very well inside of Dainese suits, not sure how well they work with other suits. I've seen SIDI STs under other suits as well.

Make sure your suit's legs can accommodate boots under the leathers. My Dainese's have an extra zipper to allow the boot to fit but I know not all brands have this.

Just want to mention something in lieu of losing a recent member (not to say what he did or didn't do had any ties to what's mentioned below).
What not to do: For those attending this event, especially those who've never ridden the track, you're going to experience a thrilling sensation of pure adrenaline rush. And this adrenaline rush will continue to flow through your body for days, maybe even weeks after the event. Some will immediately get bitten by the bug and sign up for the next trackday while others may attempt to practice their acquired skills on the streets (i.e. knee dragging, speeding, etc.). My personal opinion regarding the latter is...fight the urge to do so. Street riding, IMHO, is to get to point A to point B in a safe manner all the while abiding by the law and being considerate to other motorists. While track riding may enhance your street riding it is not meant to encourage you to practice track skills on the streets: Speeding through traffic, attempt to drag knee in the twisties, etc. Attempting to practice/test your skills on the streets may have a detrimental result not only to yourself but to others (i.e. your bike flying towards oncoming traffic). I think the reason why so many bikers take it to the twisties is because it's free. No financial costs to speed and attempt to practice their skills such as knee dragging. But what they fail to understand is that there are costs: Speeding tickets, delayed medical response time, numerous distracting objects, oncoming traffic, and potential objects such as oil/grime/etc. that may cause you to crash. There's a reason why most racers/trackday goers no longer ride the streets: It's because we enjoy track racing/riding so much we want try to eliminate possible risks that can prevent us from enjoying this sport. All in all, this is my personal view and suggestion. In no way am I saying to give up street riding completely. All I'm saying is think...THINK real hard about the consequences before you roll on that throttle more than you should when street riding.

Alright so neither of my brothers will let me borrow their truck, which I really thought one of them would so I'm looking at a $200 truck rental to go down there. Woohoo!

My dad says he might come down (split the cost of a rental), he's an amateur photographer, would they let him on track to take pics?

the trailer hitch is a permament investment. next time, it's only the 20 bucks trailer rental that you need to pay.
1st time: 250 + 20. 2nd time: 125 + 20. 3rd time: 72.5 + 20 4th: 36.25 + 20 5th: 18.125 + 20 6th: 9.0675 + 20 by the 7th its only less than 25 bucks a day. |

So I have a 2000 maxima, I'd be able to get a trailer hitch attached to it? Wish my sister hadn't totaled my moms last car, that thing had a hitch. He's got a DSLR with a telephoto lens and other photography jargon. I didn't mean actually out on the track but where ever he would be allowed would he be able to get decent pics?
