Chain Question

Hi guys, I might be needing a new chain soon so I was looking at the Blue 250R O Ring Chain. Has anyone have any experience with these?

Yes!

Volar chains explode. Dont get volar unless you like explosions under your arse.

I've had three of this chains, each lasted less than 5000 miles before it stretched and kinked a ton.

Spend the money upfront and get a chain that will outlast three of these crappy chains.

I don't think DID has colors so you may be stuck with RK but their much better then the alternative

They're crap. Buy a name-brand chain, maintain it reasonably well, and enjoy 15k - 30k miles on it without a worry. (one thread describing Volar problems on this site)

Most major quality manufacturers make colored chains as well I had a RK chain for awhile but replaced it with a green Regina and am very happy with it. It has about 6000 miles on it and looks great but I am very religious as far as chain maintenance goes.

I'd rather spray paint a DID, than use some cheapo chinese chain, no matter how "cool" it looked.
