I have tried and tried to get a few friends to do this. But sadly, I go solo most of the time. Every Wed. night through the main season coming back home from bike night, I have to ride about 10 miles of twisties through deer country to make it home. I should record some of it, it can be super fun.

1) nice headlights is there a flashlight on your helmet or am I just imagining a light looking through turns?

2) Your extra microphone is awesome. Your bike sounds so good.

I've only done it a few handful of times. No real roads close by and when I do feel like venturing out. I'm in Deer country.

It's a 1500 lumes led head lamp mounting to the side of the helmet, but I forgot to reprogram the battery to run at full power so its only putting out 900 lumes in the video. The lights 5 years old and the current model puts out 3600 lumes it'd be nice to mount one of those on each side and tear up the night.

I get @CycleCam303 to join me sometimes but he has stock headlights so I have to keep him within 50' so he can see through the corner. Following at night is SOOO much easier then leading.

During the summer when I go do my ultramarathons I'll leave at like 4-5am so I can make the 7-8 start time. I always give myself like and extra hour or so to take all the cool canyon road on the way there. It's nice riding with zero cars around even if you have to be extra alert of critters.

Yeah, I like taking the occasional 2am ride when I'm home. I just have to watch for all the possum and deer in the park.

I want to get one of those lights for my road bike so I can ride at night. I already have a couple of 1W flashing tail lights for being seen, I just need a bright enough headlight to see where I'm going.

I want spring so I can see how my bixenon does. I've only ridden with it once in the darn and it was woefully mis-aimed.
