That is the race system too which pumps out a bit more than the street system. It removes one of the passenger pegs so if you don't plan on riding 2up get the race system

Doing research on their website, the 18" is the better buy for the standard Area-P or the Race version.
On the standard Area-P, there's no difference between the 12" and 18". On the race version Area-P, the 18" has better performance by about 1.5Hp. |

Please sign me up for a race system with the 18" carbon can, but please try arranging for cheaper shipping, as 110$ is very steep. I've seen full systems ship for as low as 45$. Please look into it. So my order will be conditional based on two factors :- 1) cheaper shipping 2) availability of a map for the same, without air box. Regards. Hans. P.s. I'd like to get in on this as well, but I am not sure when we are getting our tax money. This is my tax-mas present from myself but I was part of the group that couldnt submit my taxes until yesterday because I claimed some of the education credits. That put my tax-mas back at least a few weeks.
My question is this: when is the absolute last minute that I can submit my payment to get in on this group buy? Thanks in advance

Also, you can get a lot of power out of the stock airbox. Those guys who race CVMA all have their airboxes (and snorkels) to comply with the racing rules. I've seen some of their dyno charts. They're quite impressive. The other option: LeoVince suggests drilling a pair of 2" diameter holes in the back of the airbox. You could use their LeoVince Fast Fuel ecu and air box mods with an Area P system. That would also be a great starting point. The yoshi map w/PC or the Leo Vince mods with their ecu might also be spot on. You never know until you try. |

Sign me up for the GB!
Would you recommend the standard carbon fiber full exhaust over the stainless steel version or do they just look differently? and my bike is completely stock but want to put on this full exhaust and put in a k&n air filter in the stock airbox. So would that mean i need their dynojet stage 2 kit as well? if so sign me up for that too! lol p.s. this is my first time participating in a GB. So my question is how and when do i actually pay for this? |

Conditionally, yes. As a as i don't cause any trouble if my tax money doesn't come in time and I have to drop out.
I'll take a 12" carbon fiber can, conical end cap (as dark as it comes; black or carbon fiber if possible) area p custom jet kit. And as much of the system (obviously not the pipes) in black or carbon as possible. Trying to go completely black on the bike. Thanks!

Shipping cost is approximately $95.00. If by "FI nut", you mean an O2 Bung - we can supply a CNC'd 304 series stainless steel Bung specifically designed for our systems. We do not install them because of issues with not knowing the exact location required for clearance. Since we do not get the FI 250r in the US, we have have had issues in the past with getting the Bung installed exactly where it needs to be. Therefore, we now simply offer the Bung seperately and you would have someone install it for you.

The primary differences besides aesthetics are weight and radiant heat. The carbon fiber muffler weighs approximately 1 lb less than the stainless steel muffler version and it puts out less radiant heat.

Perhaps you might consider simply taping off the muffler and painting the end caps with a high temp black paint. I have seen this done in the past with good results by some customers. |
