Indianapolis Riders

Hey all. I'm looking to put together some rides as soon as the weather here is dooable. I did a search for Indiana/Indianapolis Riders and came up with old dead threads so I'm here asking. Anyone up for a ride. I'm good for a trip to Bloomington or just around town riding. Either way maybe we'll meet on the circle.

Last time I was in Bloomington I got a warm welcome by 5 or 6 city officers and one state officer. Luckily the state officer was rational. The others were out of control.

Yikes. Several different stops, or did they all just gang up on you? Story?

All at once when we got to the first light in town. We heard sirens coming from every direction. At first we thought it was a fire. Then we saw cops coming from every direction. Each cop was telling us to do something else. Luckily the State cop showed up and called off the dogs. He put us in his car and let all the other cops leave. We had been traveling at a higher rate of speed than the posted limit, passing cars 3 or 4 at a time, never knowing that the state cop was chasing us. When he showed up and found us stopped at a light with tons of law screaming at us he realized we weren't running from him just traveling rather quickly. A couple of speeding tickets and we were back on our way.

Awesome. I've heard that but the portion I hit was boring. You'll have to show me the good parts. There is an awesome stretch on 45, and I'm hoping to check out 43 and 54 which both look promising.

This was a long time ago. We were headed north from I-64. So we were coming up from the south (45 or 37).
