Help needed: Clutch lever locknut
Hi all,
A little over a week ago I attempted to lube the clutch cable on my 2012 250R. This normally easy task (or so I read) has turned into a nightmare for me. Long story short, I completely buggered up the locknut and adjuster bolt that hold the clutch cable in place at the lever. It's all bent out of shape and doesn't look salvageable. I went to the dealership and told the guy what I needed. FINALLY today they called to say the part came in, but of course this one doesn't fit. The bolt is a much larger diameter and the locknut is welded together with the adjuster, which doesn't make sense to me... I can't find anything about this part online, but I'm wondering if anyone is familiar with a situation like this at all. Can the part be bought somewhere besides Kawasaki? The guy at the shop said it's specific to the bike and thus I won't be able to find an aftermarket bolt/ locknut. Any help would be much appreciated. Weather is getting so much nicer and it's KILLING me not being able to ride! |

Thanks man. Ordered online. Guy gave me a part for a ZX-6R for damn near quadruple the price
