Removing Gauges???

I'm in the process of doing a mod that will replace the black plastic on the dash board with the CF piece in the first pic. Does anyone know how to remove the top black frame part of the gauges (2nd pic) in order to get this sucker on? Thanks

Nothing really. Just another unneccessary cosmetic mod that I just have to have on the bike. I wish I had stronger will power but I don't. Hell I don't even have the willpower to use the search option.

Do you have the willpower to tell us where you found it and how much it costs?

It would be badass if you installed a Koso Gauge in there at the same time! Good luck bro

Too rich for my blood.

Hey Chris... I totally forgot US customs. That's why it took a month for that windshield to get here.

B.O.T. Does that CF piece fit perfectly? So if say, you are using clip ons your hands won't get pinched.

I plan on getting some clip ons soon, but from the picture it looks like the dash is the exact same as the OEM. The contact at a-tech doesn't speak english well enough to answer technical questions so I guess I'll find out the hard way. Hopefully I wont end up on the wrong end of a kkim "Ask me how I know" experience.

looks like the dash is just a carbon fiber copy of the stock OEM one, so you should be fine... but you never know for sure till you test fit it, right?

gl... hope it all works out.

Installing aftermarket guage clusters

Does anyone know if the guage cluster of the zx-6 would fit the 09' 250r? The reason I asked is because I checked out some koso guages and the widest they came were about 180mm..installing that would leave a big gap all around that I would have to figure how to fill. I've see na guy done it but the filling isn't that attractive.
