It's not a Buell its an EBR

Got to ride with some friends today and the EBR rep as he made his way through New England. Awesome bike. Cool plate too. I think my 600 + the 2 KTM = the EBR's price.

Yeah, $40k USD is a little steep for a bike.

Wow! $40K for that? Great looking bike but not for the price.

lmao absolutely not worth 40k. Would much rather buy an r1, or a 636 and use the rest on a car.

It's a cool bike for sure. 40k may sound steep but I'm pretty sure being a street bike was way down on the priority list. Buy one of these and if you got the skills you should be at the top of AMA. The bike is ready to race.

Yeah, that bike was put into "production" so it could race in the production class.

Yup. I like the R1 but this is about 100 lbs lighter, better brakes, CF everywhere, suter slipper, ohlins at both ends, fully adjustable rear sets. Now a graves R1 is a monster but that's nothing like you get off your dealers floor. This is basically what Yates and May are racing.

That's a beautiful machine, but not worth the $40k. When I'm a millionaire I'll get back with you on how it rides :P

$40K?!?!?! I cried myself to sleep last night after reading about the prices of the Panigale R and BMW S1000RR HP4!

A pretty cool comparison of some super bikes including the EBR.

$40k seems outrageous to most people who don't spend more than $5k, $10k, or even $15k on a motorcycle.

This bike wasn't built for most people.

Everyone complaining about price, see post number 11. That's why it's expensive

In the comparison the Aprilia and the Ducati were faster around the course. You'd hope for the cost of all those fancy bits it'd be significantly quicker than a bike that cost half it's price, not slower.

That being said, it's a pretty sexy bike.
