Still using a Htc Droid Incredible. I was taking a piss and dropped it in the toilet. Total submersion. I left it in the vent of my car with the heat on and its perfect!! I love Android!!!!

I spend my freakin' life in front of a computer. All day. Every day. 16 hours yesterday without a break. Then, after work, I go home and sit in front of a computer again. Most waking hours, I'm online. I write about technology for a living. I'm up to my hair follicles in tech all day, every day.

I draw the line at what I carry on my person.

I do NOT want another computer in my pocket. I don't need to be plugged in and available every blasted place I go. And I certainly don't need to spend $1200 a year for the privilege of being able to get online or surf the web anywhere, any time.

When I see people ignoring their companions and surroundings because they're busy checking email, tweeting or web surfing, sometimes I want to go knock the benighted thing out of their hands. Live in the REAL WORLD for a change, willya?

My phone is.. a PHONE. It makes phone calls (imagine that). It has a ringtone that sounds like an old-style Bell telephone. It doesn't even have a camera.

Luddite? No. I love my Mac. I love technology. I just have a personal space limit that I refuse to violate.

Will I ever get a smart phone? Probably, once I no longer have a choice. I managed to resist IM for years (an instant message is an instant distraction) until my boss required me to install it. Until then... call me.

dude I get my grandparents and parents iphones because they cant work androids. I got my dad a droid 2 and he has to have me do everything. His next phone will be an iphone. My mom is getting her first and im getting her an iphone 4 because they are free and she doesnt even care. My wife is getting an iphone 5 because again she had a hard time with the android. And my grandparents have an ipad because they had a hard time with the galaxy tab.

For smart phones iOS is the best OS for people who are new to smartphones.








Also. I have a Galaxy Nexus. Wish I waited to the S3. The Nexus has some serious flaws on Verizons network.

Sitting at lunch in the middle of a fun Coalinga ride, people were playing with their phones. In the group of 8, 4 of them were Galaxy S3's. I've read the press releases where Samsung is boasting about sales, but this still surprised me somewhat.

I switched from my 3gs to the gs3 and love it. Got my girlfriend one at the same time to replace her evo4. It's a great phone. Samsung is making top notch hardware in every arena right now.

Did anyone hear what became of the apple lawsuit? I know they won most of it, but did samsung appeal or something? Apple invented the rectangle you know - and samsung violated their patent making their phone rectangular too. I heard that that most of the parts in an i-phone are made by samsung so I'm thinking those parts may be getting more expensive to pay off the settlement.

It's pretty bad ass! The only bad part for me is that with Sprint I still don't have 4G. It's because the S3 can only use 4G LTE not 4G. LTE isn't available here.

Yeah...it's annoying cause with my Evo I at least got 4G but now I can't get anything but 3G. They are really behind with releasing that stuff here in Hawaii.

Just today, I was walking down the hall at work. A coworker was like "psst..hey Samer, come here!". He proudly showed me his Samsung Galaxy S3. I said, "oh, you got that one huh?". I'm not going to buy a phone just for Siri...I think it's personally kind of stupid. You have to hit a button to tell something to do something. The only time I use a voice command thing is if I send a text and it work really well. My husband has an iPhone 5 and I just don't get it. Sorry

The ads crack me up. They aren't making fun of Apple, they are making fun of Apple cultists. I greatly prefer the S3 screen to the 5's screen. Some people say it's too blue, others say it's too yellow, but all of them can agree that Apple's is still too small.

Upgraded my windows phone 7 to a nokia windows phone 8. Love it. Got the same for my wife.

I also have a windows 8 tablet (replaced my ipad) and it is nice to have everything in sync.

No, just like the products. I don't use my computers for super intensive things, so I was able to replace my desktop, laptop, and ipad all with a Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet 2. I can easily take it with me to races, make tune changes, and edit race video all on one easy to transport device.

Windows Phone 7 was nice, but Windows Phone 8 is a step above for sure. There aren't as many apps as iOS or Android, but how many of the 1.5 million apps do you really need/use. Lately when a major app comes out it has been coming to Windows Phone at the same time, so I have no complaints. The Nokia hardware is very good quality and solid piece. When you compare the price to an iphone, or a high end Android, it becomes even more appealing.

Actually looking at iOS 7, there are a lot of things "borrowed" from the Microsoft's design language. Looks good.

I have a dinosaur iphone 4S.

I can't stand this thing. it's a dinosaur compared to my 3 year old androd that i keep around the house for wi-fi use only (streaming pandora to stereo, etc.).

Unfortunately my work won't let me use anything but iphone.
