i haven't watched the video, but i'm downvoting you for your crappy post. if you post a video, put a description for what the video is, don't just put "AWESOME!" or "GRAPHIC!" or "****** quality of post"

that being said, my expectations are already set to be disappointed so viewing the video is almost pointless.

after watching the video, let me fix the first post for you:

video of a guy who doesn't know how to turn a motorcycle straightlining across the road and getting hit head on.

That looks horrible. I can't practically feel the target fixation coming out of my screen though. Goodness gracious.

Side note: Why do so many cars in Russia have dashcams?

Probably the insurance co gathered all the footage from the claims.

Hate watching these videos, both the content and the music suck...

Bother to explain?

It seems a senseless accident with bad consequences to two persons.
At least to me, the reason seems more equipment failure than rider error, unless something was impairing the rider.
I see no glory in destruction, injury or death.

The video is good regarding putting together three different points of view of the same occurrence.
I believe that I am not criticizing your post and thread.

Epic as in you never get to see a crash from so many cameras. It was almost like a commercial.

Then, my sadness must come from the so many people, including close friends and relatives, that my old eyes have seen dying on the road.

From what I understand they have huge liability issues or something. So to provide proof on the case if an accident many of them have dash cams.

Based on the video alone, I'd guess that the pillion was teaching the rider how to ride. The pillion probably gave the rider his helmet. The inexperienced rider probably didn't know how to properly turn/countersteer a motorcycle at speed (which is pretty common for people's first go on a bike). Corner slightly tightened and target fixation took hold.

The entire situation was probably entirely avoidable. Hope no-one thinks twice about riding or learning to ride because of this video.

I'd be interested to see motorcycle injury and death statistics of riders who: wore ATGATT, maintained their bike, did a training course and spent time discussing, practising and reading about riding technique. I bet the statistics of that demographic would look pretty good!
