License plate location

I was thinking about tucking my plate under the rear seat. Anyone has that setup? I see it a lot on sport bikes here in the city but I'm not sure how I could do it and still be relatively on the safe side of the law. i was thinking of maybe having a light on the plate as well.

Right now i have a fender eliminator kit and integrated taillights. I think it would look nice and sexy if i remove the fender eliminator and move the plate under.

Yea I was thinking putting it way in there. Also do 250's have a light for licence plate? I bought my bike with the fender eliminated. but discovered some wires under the passenger seat that appear to be for licence plate lights.

How do you prove that you've fixed it?

If you fix it in 24 hours you can send in a receipt of the repair work and then the ticket will be dismissed.

Otherwise you have to pay even if you fix it.

It's been awhile but I think the ticket said you needed to have a receipt from a shop. I don't know if you can fix it yourself.

yeah the stock fender has a light on it just above the license plate.
as long as you have http://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-White-1-S...ebff1d&vxp=mtr
you should be fine. Id suggest white...ive seen some people around here that seem to be getting away with red and blue plate lighting but id highly advise against it.

In my experience you show it to a cop, fixed, and he signs it saying its been fixed. Thats how it works in California at least, then on your court date you go down and give them the ticket or you just mail the ticket in.
