Awesome race! We watched Moto3 from turn 10 coming off the back straight, and watched Moto2 and MotoGP from fantastic reserved seats in the front row at turn 16 coming onto the front straight.
Any Moto3 fans? It was fun to watch young Marquez do so well... |

Completely unrelated to our Race Team Guest passes that Kenny got for us, my sister is dating a firefighter that works the IMS events, and he got us into the restricted seating area where we could pick the best seats in the place. That's where we watched the Moto2 and GP races. Afterwards, we went back to the paddocks again, where we waited for Rossi, but he got molested a bit too much by other folks, and so bailed before I could get his autograph. He did, however, touch my wife's hand as he rode by. I told her she's not allowed to wash it.

No way!!! Too funny. And yeah -- SO GLAD they'll be back next year. My folks live in the Indy region, so it's great to be able to come see family for vacation and sneak in the race.

I was there for qualifying but didn't stay the weekend for the race. Was really awesome though! I saw someone with a really REALLY cool 300r there even. They had done some type of front fork conversion, full ohlins suspension, CF rims, and a whole bunch of other mods. I think his name was Jason? He said he frequents here. Was a bike I would have traded my 636 for in a heartbeat.
