Weeelll boyz.....so like 10 minutes after I finished talking to Alex I put my finger in the sprocket. Of course the wheel was turning too.
Long story short is that right index finger is in a splint so I can either operate the throttle or the brake but not both. What a freakin mess...blood all over the driveway, car, house, tee shirt and rear wheel ( I leaft the rear hub bloody so we'd all have something to laugh about) Fingers bleed a lot.
I do not think I will be out tomorrow...Alex..I'll call you to make sure you're not waiting for me.

Eddie don't stick your fingers into the sprocket when it is moving. It hurts.

Stitches? Broken finger?

My rear seat trunk is stuck and i cannot fix my taillight because of it. I am gana go to massapequa's dealership over there to get an extra key blank. And possibly have a copy of my key made somewhere. to try to open the trunk with the key original key metal. More then welcome to join me.

Actually...I didnt have the presence of mind to take before and after pix....but I got one after he stitched me up. Perhaps i will attempt to apply my considerable skill as an artist and illustrate the injury. After I pulled the finger out...it reminded me of the opera house in Sydney Austrailia...just effin' google it !.... after he sewed it up...it reminded me of a bald guy with no face. Illustrations to follow.

The finger is good.
Just to screw with the doctor...I bandaged up my left hand when I went to have the wound checked.......( the injured hand was my right)
So he unwraps the left hand and as he's doing this i tell him I visited a faith healer.. He kind of ignores the remark...unwraps the bandages and gets to the bloody part of the dressing ( red marker)....slooooowly unwraps the final wrap and...holeeee ****...it's a miracle...even the stitches healed up. Only took him a split sec to figure it out but he says OK, take the right hand out of your pocket, I have other patients
It was fun..

There was some meet date posted on LI Bike Night on FB about stunting or whatever. Supposed to be today at 12:30 at Islandia's dave and buster.

I came home from Flushing at 3. So of course I over slept. Sigh. Don't know if the plans went through considering the forecast but it seemed clear 'round 1 when I woke up.

It's a pretty ghetto ride. Make sure all your papers are in order and ride carefully. Lot of showboating, I'm always afraid they will wreck into me.

I could take it for tomorrow or anytime....not like there's an event or anything...just want to get decent pix of the backroads. Found out i can rent one for like $29 someplace in the city with a viewing screen which would be useful since I dont know how to aim the camera

I don't know if I have any of the 3M mounts for the helmet, I'd have to check.

Do you have an android phone or an apple phone? If you do you don't need a viewing screen. You can download an app and you can use your phone as the view finder.

Let me know but you can borrow mine if you want to. I also have a two extended batteries so you'll get about 2.5 hours of battery time.

I just saw 2 mounts...there's a strap mount that looks like it might work and a mount with an articulated arm that looks like it has to be adhered to the helmet. Think the strap mount would do it because I'd only plan on using it once and then you could have it ?

By mount I mean the piece of plastic with the 3M tape you stick to your helmet. I might have some extras I'll look tonight.

but it does seem like it could be fun to go out , hit the rev limiter , displace normal traffic and whore my bike out for some attention.

IF anyone rides in a squid fest like this - be careful and watch your six.

I saw a lot of accidents on that vid.

I just want to be part of some sort of super big meet.

That or a really late night, full throttle run down a highway of some sort. I hate doing it on my own but it's oh so fun on the Suffolk side of Northern at 2 in the morning.

And that's my squid post for the year. Most of the time, I'm on the right lane cruising a modest 65-70 and enjoying that 45-55mpg perk.

Seems like that's going to be this pizza dude's plan.

I stopped in for...well obviously pizza and he mentioned the Hollywood meet. He thought my bike was a ZX6R Told me he'd be riding his quad there.

He agreed about your guys safety concern btw. Said he had a buddy of his get plowed by someone who lost control of his wheelie.

I bought a DriftHD720 for 50bucks from best buy but the battery was dead so drift sent me a new one once I contacted them. I think it was still worth it for $50. It was an in-store deal only. but amazon has it for 70bucks
http://www.amazon.com/HD-720-Profess...ords=drift+720

It has some drawbacks like there is no exterior microphone, and sometimes files get corrupted when filming too long. and battery lasts about 5 hours of use.
