Unless something changes, they will not be able to pay their debts and eventually fold.

Here's the Link for history of Sito, Group and Leovince (I don't read about Akrapovic, but maybe @pomartin knows more about that): http://www.leovince.com/en/group/brands/leovince
just read this (if you think you want to know about?): "Sito SITO started in 1954, main target: the production of exhaust systems similar to the original ones and replacing them. From the initial ranges for Vespa and Lambretta, the catalogue has evolved during the years, today including over 300 items for two stroke and four stroke engines. The SITO products are distributed worldwide." ------------------------------------------------------------ "Group | History History Devotion to the two wheels since 1954. Established in Turin in 1954 by Pietro Mollo, Sito Gruppo Industriale S.p.A. manufactures exhausts and accessories for motorcycles in the aftermarket sector under the brand name “LeoVince”. In 1962 Sito moved to Monticello d’Alba (CN), the place of origin of the founding family. The factory occupies a surface area of 80 thousand square meters, and it employs over 100 people. The company, which is managed today by Gianni Mollo - the founder’s son - has been market leader in the manufacturing of silencers for motorcycles of every make, engine size and model. At the beginning, the Company was specialized on the production of replacement silencers for 2 and 4-stroke engines. Those products were called SITO. Thanks to the efforts of the Company, the production grew up across the years. SITO became specialized in producing exhaust systems and carbon fibre accessories for almost all the Street Bikes and Off Road Bikes available on the market: all those products were labelled with the new brand LeoVince. Few years later, LeoVince became very popular among riders so to overcome the SITO brand in popularity. Today, the range of LeoVince products include Scooter, SBK - the line for street legal sports bikes - and X3 for all the Off-Road Bikes. LeoVince also brands Carbon Fibre accessories for Street and Off Road Bikes. The technicians of the Research & Development department exploit the experience acquired in the world of competitions, through the study of shapes, pipes design and the use of materials such as titanium and carbon fibre. Many teams from MotoGP World Championship, Superbike, Motocross, Enduro and in the most important national and international competitions, like the BSB or the famous Endurance Races, are equipped with the LeoVince exhausts. Thanks to these efforts, Sito Gruppo Industriale is today an internationally known company, with commercial premises in the United States, a factory in Poland and a well-structured distribution network in Europe, Australia and Japan. In these last years, LeoVince has started to spread its products in the Asian and South American Markets. LeoVince has become present even in the most important local Races in South East Asia and Brazil. The overall production is about 500.000 exhausts a year." ------------------------------------------------------------ "LeoVince LeoVince started marketing its own products in 1987. After gaining European leadership in the 2-stroke scooter expansion chamber sector, the need of the marketing products differentiation has been pushed by the advent of the 4-stroke sports motorcycle product line; hence in 1999 the creation of the LeoVince Scoot brand, for 2 and 4-stroke scooter exhausts, and the LeoVince SBK brand, for the maxi street legal sports bike exhausts, joined in 2001 by the LeoVince X3 line for off-road motorcycles. In 2009, the company grew creating LeoVince Carbon Fiber Department, engaged to make special parts in carbon fiber. All manufacturing, related to exhaust systems and carbon fiber products, is handled inside the company in order to guarantee careful quality control in every production process. The factories are in Italy and Poland, while the San Francisco affiliate company is committed to commercial and marketing management in the United States market. In the last period, LeoVince presence increased even in the market of the South of Asia and in Brazil, spreading the LeoVince products all around the world. The synergies between the Research & Development Department and the Races Department are essentials for the development of products and the technology applied. The same Races Deptartment is required to supervise LeoVince partner teams in the main championships of the world such as MotoGP, Superbike, Motocross, Enduro and the most important National and International Races in the world of the motorbikes." |

I absolutely hate them, especially for the street. I think they're worthless, and any extra performance gain is not worth it. They're basically a ripoff and inherently deceptive.
Money is better spent on track days and training than on aftermarket pieces of junk exhausts. No. I always keep the exhaust stock.

Sometimes it's not about performance, it's simply about clearance.
