Changed the oil and filter. Poured in liquid gold - at least that's how proud the brand is of their oil. Though I did like the little built in spout (but not THAT much, Motul).
Tomorrow will do a thorough walk around to ensure she's all ready for a hopefully fun and dry ride to Yosemite.

Replaced my CycleGuys FastPack Tailbag with the Cortech Super 2.0 tailbag (24L). I had a little trouble mounting it in the beginning, but I figured it out. This thing is sweet and I am really liking the extra room I have. Now, I can commute properly. It looks great on the 300 and is the perfect size.

What front wheel are you going to run? I want to do the whole front end swap along with 1/2 the gsxr brake package, but that lands me with an overly wide front wheel |

Finally put in a rear brake light pressure switch. Rear brake hasn't turned on the brake light since I got woodcraft rearsets. Also did a rear brake reservoir delete because the damn thing didn't really fit well with all the crap I got going on in that spot.

and went to costco.. and maybe vons and did some research on slip ons, the muzzy 2 to 1, and air filters. decided on waiting a few months. This bike is my only motorized transportation and I'm not really in the mood for having it not working when I need it to. |

Even though that Kriega set-up is already kinda silly looking, I still want to get the US-30 with another US-20 to attach together. I like having the option to carry way too much **** if ever necessary. Who knows, I might decide to go ride across the US at some point and will need all luggage space I can get

But what will I do for rim tape then? I like my reflective blue rim tape!
I would like to have my wheels powdercoated later on but I think I have many other cosmetic things to take care of first. Maybe actually painting those white fairings green... Oh and getting a new fairing stay cuz the front bodywork is just crooked enough to annoy me and make putting the fairings on a bitch.

Had sintered front pads and SS line installed, along with fresh oil and filter. The 300 scoot is a bit happier these days. Next to do, is swap out the OEM grips (too firm for my liking) with some more comfy ones. Then, eventually, swap out for a tinted front shield and rear seat cover.
Frame Sliders .....hmmm .... should I, or should I not? They're great if a sudden drop should occur or if going down on pavement. But! tend to do more damage once the bike goes off road. This is why I am debating of adding them, or not....... decisions, decisions. |

Cheap route: remove lower 250 stem race and swap onto 600 fork and reinstall everything. Grind/cut away frame stem steering lock bracket as it will not clear the forks. better route: remove all the oem races and ball bearings and replace with all balls racing roller bearings. Quote:

Added two more Techmount's to my bike on the unused mirror mounts, for both the left and right side. Getting closer and closer to making my bike more friendly for electronics (GPS, phone, heated gear, etc).

New Tires
New Pirelli DRIIs front and rear. My stock rear was completely squared off.
Love the feel of them. Very confidence inspiring. Hopefully potential buys will appreciate them.

Bought 'er a battery, and rode 20 or so miles on gravel back roads at 60+ mph.
Now I really need to test drive my next bike most inappropriately, 'cause I want it to not suck on gravel. I like the ability to go 70mph on gravel. She did feel really freaking slow today though, not a good sign... |
