I was hoping to get some good riding in last weekend and this week, but someone seems to have run into my bike in my parking lot and tweaked the handle bars. I'm sure they'll come back any day now to leave a note with their insurance info... =P

Weds not going to work for me now.

It sucks that we had such a depressing year--weather wise-- but I hope next year will have more sunny days so we can ride.

*NORTH GA RIDERS 2015 KICKOFF EVENT!!!*

When:
SATURDAY JANUARY 31, 2015

Where:
WENDYS in Cumming, GA
300 Tri County Plz, Cumming, GA 30040

Agenda:
11:00AM = LUNCH / MEET & GREET
12:00PM = Kickstands Up

There will be 2 choices for this ride. I will be leading/making a circle around Lake Lanier for a short 1 to possibly 2 hour ride. Once we reach the north side of the lake, I will stop at a picturesque spot for a nice group picture. After that, those that would like to head off to the mountains for a longer ride can head off from there for a longer route. Those who just want to continue my shorter route can follow me back around to Cumming. (below is an "idea" map of the route I will "most likely" be taking)

**2014 was a low year for the NORTH GA RIDERS for various reasons...from bad weather to careless riders. We enjoy the "twisties" but we also enjoy soaking in the sites. We are not out there being careless, trying to grind knees, trying to break speed records, nor racing each other. SO...if safe riding and good fellowship is what you are after, come join us for our first ride of 2015!!!

Now that the whole gang has chimed in, here are some ideas I have for the group. Every 3rd Saturday of every month will be RIDE DAY (possibly rain makeup days can be the 4th Saturday). There is no way to please everybody nor to get everybody on the same page, even I will not be able to make it to every single 3rd Saturday though my goal is to lead a ride on every 3rd Sat this year

...BUT...this way we ALL know which day we are riding and can plan ahead since the dates will be set. Some of these days can also be specialty days such as garage/tech days where we meet and change our oils or work on particular projects. Maybe we can do a nice ride to the Barber Museum, a Ride&Guns day where we ride and go to a shooting range and perfect our shooting skills, a track day, a cook out day, ETC ETC ETC! Any other such ideas are welcomed. So here we go:::

I'm feeling way too crappy to ride to Atlanta when the temp is 30 degrees this morning. Plus no one would want to be around my sniffly ass anyway.
After a long, tough week at work, the last thing I planned was to spend the weekend too sick to do any damn thing. This sucks.
