As much as I like the yammi, I would have to go with the triumph. Hard to go wrong either way though.

Neither since I'm not into naked bikes.
But if I were into naked bikes then I'd pick the Triumph, although probably not in that color.

Triumph, the street triple r is one of my dream bikes because it looks and sounds amazing in addition to having great handling and good linear power.
I can second the z1000 though, those are also sexy af This yammi doesn't feel right to me, it feels almost like a bigger dirt bike with the way the tank is shaped and the suspension doesn't match up to the power that's being put down at all. The first is a personal preference and the second can be fixed with aftermarket parts though. Regardless it's just not my cup of tea anyway

triumph looks like it was a full fairing bike that was crashed and then turned into a naked bike....
In other words... go with the yami, it's pretty.

The Triumph is a better motorcycle, the Yamaha is a better value. Pick your poison.

i can get a good discount on the Triple but not on the 07:
I could get Yammi for $7800 OTD, and Triumph for $9600 OTD, and then receive a Triumph's voucher for accessories / apparel for $500. Still, I like both. |

If cost isn't a big concern, get the Triumph Street Triple - but go for the "R" version.

FZ-09. Gonna be my next bike. For the price difference in the triple you can completely upgrade the suspension and do a couple other mods to the FZ-09.

That's my thinking. I mean, the triple is ~2 grand more. + he gets that $500 voucher which can be spent on an exhaust or suspension. I'd definitely take the FZ-09 with 2k in mods over stock triple. I guess it comes down to personal preference of looks, OP, have you sat on both bikes?

People say the FZ-09 engine is amazing, but the only problem is the ergos, suspension, etc.
http://www.triumphrat.net/street-tri...-triple-r.html http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/8/1768...-Shootout.aspx You can easily upgrade the ergos and still have the awesome engine. Just my .02 Video review

Ok let me ask you this: if it were between the Street Triple and the FZ09, which would you pick? Has anyone ridden both?
