My birthday kicked ass. I got to spend it with some of my favorite peeps doing what I loved.

can I get a link to fox's video once it's up? I want to compare to see where that 9-10 second gap is made (I know some of it is turn 10-11 and some more is turn 8)

I will post it here, he has already OK'ed it. You want to see the race line for 250's? Check the mock race vid I already posted. I can go faster than that. Track days are for riding at 75% of your ability but the lines will not change all that much going a few seconds faster. Turn in points will be a bit sooner, flicks will be faster and exits will be a bit wider, but most of all.... corner speed will be higher.

I haven't seen all my vid yet, but you know you are gittin' it when you drag a knee at the 14 meatball. I done it once and told myself... no more this weekend.

I came really close to doing that since that was one of my more comfortable corners day 2 before my scare early day 3 (that I didn't get on video :'( ) in turn 13-14 I started thinking about the drive home on day 3 and my pace dropped to ~1:47-1:49 on average from my day 2 1:42-1:45 in the mock race.

Your video is rendering and will be posted soon. I am still trying to figure out what to do with the sideline mock race clips.

I'm not sure what to do with the sideline mock race clips but definitely post the one of floki's mad wheelie pass over the finish line

I will, but honestly... the video doesn't do it justice. After review of his video and min, he didn't get the pass until after the start/finish but he still gets and A for effort!!!! That was ballzy for a fresh track rider.

Great riding to the both of you! Ben, you have earned my trust to be on the outside of you midcorner. Floki, your progress over the weekend was beyond anything that I could have imagined ahead of time.

It was cool seeing all you guys there, I had a lot of fun. My brother crashed on his 675R in turn 6. He is ok and all the parts are on order. We are planning to do another trip to Jennings in December.

I also made a deposit on 2 RC390, can't wait.

Was great seeing all the ninjette members there. Will you do me a favor? Post a pic of your bike, if you rode in N or I, I am sure I have some video of you. Was a CBR right? I just forgot the colors and such, I should have come over and took a pic. Glad you bother is good!

doesn't hurt that I was still braking for 3 at that point, at some point in day 2 I learned that you don't need to brake for 3-4 with the right line.

You're cool with me posting the novice race footage though right? I'm only asking since you and the red sv650s were in sight until the last lap.

I'm realizing from these pictures and video, as well as from the wear on my knee pucks that I could be dragging knee a lot more than I actually am just by moving my foot a bit back and sticking the knee out a bit more

or I could just lean more like I was doing in 5-6, either way works

I know you already know the answer to what you should do next. I will let you choose;

A. Actively try to reach to drag a knee.
B. Build your skillz brick by brick and dragging will just happen all by itself.

Well I have been doing option B already I dragged my knee in turn 5-6 on day 3. I admit I didn't even notice until I looked at the pucks at the end of the day and saw the wear on the left puck. What I meant moreso with the body positioning point was that actively sticking out my knee would make the puck drag more like the typical puck does. Mine was dragging on the bottom portion, lemme upload a pic in a minute.
