saw a blue new gen coming off the 295 anacostia freeway and turning onto south capitol street, right in front of bolling air force base. he passed me and threw up the deuces so i waved back. but he was a squid and was only wearing a helmet, t-shirt, shorts and tennis shoes

I see quite a few ninja 250's in my area.

Black ninja 250 in Northville, at the intersection of 8 mile and Haggerty. Got a very enthusiastic nod from him as he was turning left.
Blue ninja in the parking lot of a Home Depot, again in Northville. I saw a girl in full leathers leaving the store, must have been hers.
Another blue ninja in Farmington, at the intersection of Orchard Lake and Grand River road.

No red ones, though.

Not a 250 but yesterday I saw a zx-6r, looked like an 05 model. It was silver with red or Orange flames at the intersection of 522 and blue ridge ave (Culpeper). 2 days ago I saw what looked like a brand spanking new z1000 in Orange and black at the shopping center with the dollar tree, long john silvers and ruby tuesdays; again in culpeper.

P.s. there were tons of bikers out yesterday

. Unfortunately the vast majority of them seem to think that a helmet is all the protective clothing they need

Are you sure it wasn't just him riding all those bikes, because he probably doesn't even need a helmet.

Actually, I take it back, he would still need a helmet, since his brain would still need the impact absorption that it provides regardless of whether he is made of metal or not.

parked next to a 2011 se today on bolling air force base in the parking garage next to the reserve center. its the first other 250 that ive seen on base. poor thing must have been layed down cuz the fairings were scratched and cracked, only had about 900 miles on it. i have my ninjette.org stickers on my wind screen so maybe the owner will visit

I was in the middle of nowhere (Banning, CA) when I suddenly encounted a bunch of weirdos on 250s. They told me about some "tech day" thing so I embedded with them Jane Goodall-style to observe thier social structure, behavior, and interactions. Fascinating.
