Maybe the website http://cycle-ergo.com/ might help to find the best or a better position...

Ok; here's all the info I've been able to glean regarding the CSBS pegs:
Part Number: UF-23-KIT This is for the footpegs only, not an entire rearset. They are manufactured in Germany: info@gillestooling.com An email to them returned a note from the Canadian distributor: Hi Bill, We are the Canadian distributor and can supply this kit for $249.99 plus tax. Please let me know. Kindest regards, Marco Russo Eurocorsa Performance Tel 416 292 3913 Fax 416 292 4063 www.eurocorsa.com The USA distributor for Gilles Tooling is: http://www.oppracing.com/ OPP advises they recommend ordering directly from Gilles Tooling. Apparently; they have several orders (not of pegs) that are more than 6 months back ordered. I'm going to stick with grinding an angle on my pegs in turns 5 & 6 at my local track then turn them upside down!

I did think about a ball end, but it still would create a pressure point for me. To solve this for me, I just need more surface area at the end. :\
I have also, thought... thicker soles on my boots to numb the feeling a bit as well, but not sure I want thicker soles. I happen to get a lot of "feel of the bike" through the pegs. I purposely bought boots with thinner soles to increase my feel vs. the a*'s I use to ride with.

I still would like to do better by redesigning the end of the peg. IMO the ball end doesn't do much for increasing the surface area for your foot to rest on. It really comes down to simple physics: Increase the surface area and you reduce the pressure. |

Would a 3D printed part work?
I checked my pics from CSS and my bike didn't have the fancy rearsets. The next bike did though. |
