Thanks, they are there to keep me and everyone else on the track safe. If i am unsafe i want them to pull me off and not hesitate. If i were a rider i would want them to have a chat with the idiot sitting on his bike at bad spot on the track. Whats right is right, i took it, understood and moved on with my sessions.

I do love that track though, it is a fun place to ride.

Cant still had sessions left cant let that into your mind, Its the same as when i get riding advice tbh, its not like he was a jerk about it, he was stern and fair, told me what i did wrong, told me what he expected me to do in that situation again and sent me on my way. Its what we pay them for, to keep us safe and lets us have fun on our bikes. They do a good job

Ok i will! i have been being so vain and ogling them all day yesterday lol. If you look at my chuckwalla pics and the ones from this session there are a lot of improvements and that made me very happy. I Took your advice and worked on getting lower on the bike and hanging off more off more, i still need to slide my ass off way more and i have work to do on my lines and track position more, then i will start working on more speed and putting it all together. With it only being my second track day and first time on that track i was very happy. Still lots of work to do though. So damn that just means more track time. The sacrifices i have to make

Man, stupid handlebars on the ninja are so high, time to cut the fairings for next season to help get our heads down!

I agree. It is hard to get your head down with our handlebars up so high. Although there are some racers here that have some good BP with their heads down low. Not sure how they manage that.

re: high bars
but how do guys on a supermoto do it in a racetrack (note: not on a supermoto track, cuz they do the 'inside leg out' thing which I believe they don't on a non-supermoto race track)

Here is some vid kevin took of me on the last session, the first lap was a warm up so i am lazy as i go through it, on the second one you can see where i start to get into it. Seeing this has helped me a lot, i have a better idea of what to do about turns 2 an 3 and i need to just nut up in cotton corners, I turn the two turns in grapevine into one sweeper carrying speed through both of them and then flat out the entire back section. the bigger bikes were able to pass me on riverside. My lines are cleaner and more smooth then they have been and my track position is getting better. I still find my self in the wrong place at times but for only my second track day i am quite happy with the results.

Lots of work to do but that is the fun part.

Obviously you're not going to try to mimic my BP cuz we're of different height/body size.

You're about as tall as Todd, right? If so, try studying his BP.

If that does t sound like a good approach to it I am well open to suggestions.
