7th Annual TurkeyDaz event @ Buttonwillow Nov. 26th - 27th, 2011

Who's going?

Don't quote me but I hear they're raffling off a Yamaha generator.

I'll be there Saturday and Sunday.

There are spots left for Sunday going for $50. That's heck of a deal. Buy the spots before it's taken.

Let me know if you're interested.

Y'all riding 250s? If so that's cool.

I'll either be on the 600 or 250 Sunday but since there's that many of you on the 250 I may just hop on the 250 Sunday and ride the 600 Sat....which group will you guys be in? I signed up for B group and will move up to A group later in the day. Not looking to break any record laptimes. Just wanna get out there and poach bigger bikes.

Although some do see that as being douchbaggery...I guess.

I'll be there saturday riding the 250 or 748 depending on the mood (holy jebus theres some 848 wheels on craigslist plz save me), and probably stick around if the weather is nice for sunday. Maybe sweet talk the organizers to be a control rider in C group and help give you guys some pointers on sunday. I'll prb be parked with Nem, and chances are, we'll have the only 250 race bikes there so shouldn't be too tough to find. Usually park on the western side of the clubhouse facing the track.

Nem, should I bring a couple decks of cards so we can set up some poker/blackjack games for sat night? haha

That would be cool. If I cornerwork that Sunday I'll give you my spot but you'll have to ask registration to bump you down.

So, it looks like there's gonna be 6 Ninja 250 riders Sunday (excluding Rexbo...not sure if he's gonna ride).

Anyone else interested in attending a trackday Sunday for $50? There's one more spot left I believe.

Come pick with us by the wall (first right side) when you make a make a right. Rexbo's 250 is out with mine covered. Sorry if I don't make sense. I'm a drunk. We got a camp fire going and I'm loving it. Haben't been in front a camp fire in over 10 years or so. Steve's (rexbo) is sleeping on my cot outside in his sleeping bag. Guy's crazy! Anyhow lool for a white tundra and a white tacoma.

Well the morning fog sucked and it was a late start, but when it cleared up it was freaking beautiful. Even with the late start it was only one session short of what we had at the first one i went to at chuckwalla. Would have been nice to get the earlier sessions in but no down time made it pretty sweet.

I was great seeing you guys and chatting had a blast out there. That track is so much damn fun, some turns that frustrated me on my first session but it was fun working through them. Second session my knee hit down and kind of freaked me out, i had to head check myself as i kind of focused on that but got it out of my mind, stoped thinking and worked on position. By the end of the the day i had some of the turns down really well. My pristine pucks are no longer pristine.

I have a ways to go on my riding but its so much fun working on it. I am a serious addict now. That track is a blast, i wish the surface was better but fun track.

Yeah, it was great to meet you guys as well. So proud of you guys! You guys rode well. Just wished they'd allowed me to ride with you guys in C Group. Next time you guys go let me know and I'll just sign up for C Group and bump up later in the day.

Although, I had a blast bumping down to B-Group Sunday...almost beat my friend's record for "MOST POACHED!"

I think he had 20 and I had 15 passes.

Yeah dudes thanks for comin out, sorry I couldn't follow you guys in C group, but they made me promise not to go too fast with you guys.

The Nexx was awesome, I'm definitely gonna pick one up for next season. Airflow was way better than my X-12, the eye port is huge, and the helmet is really light in comparison, and it wasn't even the carbon version! Looks way more badass as well. Only downsides that I could tell are that the chin strap kinda sucks and is too long, and that it buffeted more than my shoei down the front straight.

No, what I said was you're not so terrible (in the front straights).

Seriously though you looked really good out there being your first time. You were gaping a good chunk of riders on a bigger bike. Good stuff!

Improvements from my fist time out at chuckwalla, as long as i improve every time i hit a track i am happy. I was super excited when my knee got down. Doing it the right way not forcing it just clicking on that turn. What a rush.

Thank you, i still get crossed up and i can get my ass off the seat more and get off the bike more but i am happy with what i have been able to do so far. I seriously love the track and in just two track days i have learned more about my bike and riding then i ever would have got in a lifetime on the street. I had an instructor help me around the track a few times, todd and nick gave expert advice and just talking and going over stuff with the guys in the pitts then executing it in the next session there is nothing like it. Best moto experiance ever.

Had to bring that up! when i did the shame roll into pit lane i saw you sitting there snickering at me and i was like ****. yea i noobed it, i couldn't tell what he was telling me to do and went the wrong way. I understand why they called me in and after he explained it it made sense, they go over it at the rider meeting and i got confused because they told us if we ran off to stay off but i was in a bad spot and needed to move. Live and learn.

Thanks for reminding me!

Don't even sweat it Jeff. We were all there. Some more than others. I got tons of noob & black flag stories...haha Hey, only way you're gonna learn is from your mistakes, right?

And you took that in really well. Props to you.
