Your bike looks the business bro... I'm certain the side covers will clean up the look a lot and so will the exhaust... Fantastic work!

I like the open side . To me it looks heavy with side covers. It's just me but I would try to hide the wiring.

I like being able to look 'through' the bike. It does make it look more ethereal. It's actually what I like about some of the older Ducati SS models. (Full disclosure: I own one ) Expose that industrial art! Then again, you're doing epically well without my input. Carry on. |

Nicely done! If you find the time, could you explain how you made the seat/rear of the bike? From what I can tell you made a male mold with some foam and then built fiberglass on top of that?

Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AT6P7qaUPLw Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klcwT2IMznU Very nicely done indeed! Two more questions if you could indulge me: did you weld those bars to the frame for the seat mounting bolts, or are they attached some other way? Also, is the underside of the mold covered at all in the rear? |

First off I just want to say this bike is amazing. Great job. I joined the forum so I could post on this thread.
I saw a youtube video of your bike a while back and was wondering how you made the cowl/cut the frame etc. fortunately I stumbled on this thread and its been very helpful in designing my own. For your side covers you might want to try what this guy has done and use perspex. Bike is also a ninja 250. Personally I prefer the open look. http://www.perthstreetbikes.com/foru...eracer-115793/ Almost forgot, how did you remove/cut off the mounting tabs on your tank? Thanks in advance |

It's been said again and again but w/ all the great work you've done, hearing it again and again is on right! Awesome work. Really like the new fender choice. The side panels I could go either way one, but may i suggest making them out of wood with a rich dark golden finish on them similar to the finish you would find on a wooden plain propeller. If not wood, maybe matching the leather on the seat.

Absolutely GORGEOUS! Perfect colour and seat combo. This, I think, is the nicest, cleanest build I have ever seen. Great work!

This is extremely impressive! I just noticed this thread today (new member). and thought this had to be my first post. This is an inspiring build and one of the only 250 builds i've ever thought were outstanding. Have you figured out what you're going to do with the exhaust yet?

I just read thru all 4 pages of the build, excellent quality. I agree with the rest that you need a chrome exhaust like the cafe bonnevilles would look sweet, the yoshi is too modern. I would paint the side covers black because that would be way to much green or just leave them off.
Congrats you got some great skills and its a beautiful bike. |
