Ok, this is a mess because it's so early and they have their gift certificate promo going on. The discount code will not go into effect until Feb 1st.

In the mean time; You can use their Gift Certificate to get the same price ($365).

Once you have the gift cert, you can use it for any 2 day event.

Well...plans for me to fly up have started to dwindle. I was informed last Friday that the dates for this event where blacked out for vacation at work. I still might be able to pull it off, but it would have to be alot closer to the date for me to confirm and commit to the date. I will hopefuly still get to head that way and will keep all updated as I hear things.

I am like a roach at mid-o, always there if the track is open. Maybe you can catch me on an earlier/later date. I presume I will be riding at least 6 or 7 of the dates on the schedule and all the twilights. I will post up every time I go at least 2 weeks in advance.

Nice! I believe the Demo day I went to was on an AMA vintage day. It was a great day to watch all the old school bikes blasting by (damn are they loud).

Chris, Lemme know what day(s) you're racing. I'll see about taking a day off work and heading down to watch. I wanna see you take some names on a mostly stock ninjette yo!

I know a few ninjette members hit those races on the AMA weekend at Mid-O. With me racing that weekend that makes 4 or 5 riders in my local group racing that weekend.

We camp all weekend in the none "ghetto" camping area. It's normally a great time. Not so sure how that is going to work for me this year though. I will need a good nights sleep. And I can't get rest while being woke up every 10 mins as a girl goes by and every shouts "wheelies or titties"! hahahahahahaha

haha, I think I'm going to wait until I can actually go try suits on. It's more important to me to get something that fits than save $$. The 42 wasn't bad, but I think I can do better.

I plan to make a trip to the nearest gear store/dealer that actually carries leathers over break and try on suits to see what fits.

Hey Elliott, perfect timing actually. I was just talking with a friend of mine about starting off the season at Putnam, as it's close and I did your race school and all. I have a question thought, Will MCRA be running races at lunch and after the final session of a track day? How does the 250 class fit in that?

Yes, races will be held at lunch and after the final session. The breakdown is this:

Lunch Race: 2 Grids on the track
*Expert GT
*Amateur GT
These classes are essentially 600s, 750s, and 1000s with CCS Superbike machine rules

End-of-Day Race: 4 Grids on the track
*Expert GT Light (Basically CCS Superbike SV650s)
*Amateur GT Light (same as above)
*Sportsman (beginner race class. Any and all bike legal. 1st year racers ONLY. No payouts, bragging rights only)
*250GT (EX and AM on one grid. CCS ULTB rules)

Fact is, we don't have as many classes or as much bike parity as orgs like CCS and WERA (with the ironic exception of the 250GT class). BUT, its a D@MN good ole, back to basics, small-time, local club based, Midwestern motorcycle TRACK-DAY / RACING throwdown!!

Yep, will be my first time racing this track. I am very stoked!!!! It's my favorite track and reminds me of a insanely fast trip down the backroads of KY (over hills, blind corners and such). I would assume the grid will be large too.

MOTM - Feb '13, Feb '14	haha, I think I'm going to wait until I can actually go try suits on. It's more important to me to get something that fits than save $$. The 42 wasn't bad, but I think I can do better. I plan to make a trip to the nearest gear store/dealer that actually carries leathers over break and try on suits to see what fits.
